Daniel Frei studierte Informatik und Telekommunikation (Dipl. Ing. FH) und leitet seit 25 Jahren mit grosser Freude und Motivation Projekte. Er verantwortet in dieser Zeit rund 150 digitale Transformationsprojekte mit digitalen Strategien, Beschaffungen und Einführungen von neuen Technologien und Business Software Lösungen. 

Zusätzlich zu den Masterstudien in "Business and Engineering" und "Psychologie in der Wirtschaft und Arbeitswelt" absolvierte er je einen CAS in "Emergency and Crisis Management" und "Führung im Polizeieinsatz (FIP)".

Er ist zertifizierter Senior Project Manager (IPMA Level B), Professional for Requirements Engineering (IREB) und Projektmanagement (Hermes). Zu seiner eher kreativen Seite zählt er seine LEGO(R) SERIOUS PLAY(R) Facilitator Tätigkeiten. Er bloggt, referiert, diskutiert und berichtet regelmässig zu Themen der digitalen Transformation.

Daniel Frei leitet nebenberuflich den Regionalen Führungsstab (RFS) St.Gallen-Bodensee als Stabschef. Der RFS stellt die Führung bei Grossereignissen, Katastrophen und Notlagen sicher, sofern die betroffenen Gemeinden dazu nicht eigenständig in der Lage sind.

Dani engagiert sich nebenberuflich als Coach und Mentor für Digitalisierungstalente an der FH Graubünden. Er doziert zur digitalen Transformation, Organisationsentwicklung, Leadership sowie zu Change- und Projektmanagement an der Akademie St.Gallen. 

Sportliche Aktivitäten, Reisen, Neues entdecken, alles rund um die Weintraube sowie "fine dining" und "cooking" sind weitere Lieblingsbeschäftigungen.
