2026 prediction: Linkedin content will look a lot less like "Linkedin content". Here's the breakdown:

We’ve been conditioned to believe that the perfect post follows a formula: a hook to grab attention, a tease to hold it, a bite of value to reward it, and a call-to-action to close it. I’m guilty of it myself. Somewhere along the way, that framework became a religion. And in the process, it stripped the soul out of the ideas themselves.

We’ve been duped into tasteless formatting that swallows the rawness and specificity of real insight, then spits it back out in a box-fitting structure designed to please an algorithm rather than a reader.

But the tide is already turning.

What’s actually winning now, and where 2026 is headed, are posts that read less like “content”, and more like writing. Editorial. Narrative. Long paragraphs that flow instead of punch. Ideas that breathe instead of getting chopped into “3 lessons that changed my life.”

Readers are tired of snack-sized insights that lack a "so what?". They’re craving a voice. They’re craving depth. They’re craving the feeling that there’s a human on the other end of the screen, not a content playbook.

2026 will be about building intellectual worlds. Posts that read like essays - sharing proprietary insight, that can exclusively be shared from one sole profile. Posts that treat the reader like an equal, not a lead in a funnel. Posts with enough substance that the “hook” is simply the clarity of the idea itself.

I hate mentioning the algorithm, because who really knows? But it will be catching up to this, and people already have.

A couple months ago, I put out a call looking to connect with freelance writer job board operators. The goal was to explore partnerships. 

Since then, we’ve launched Orbit, and it’s been growing at a pace quicker than our team could’ve imagined. Thought I’d run through our thesis and how we’re thinking about it:  

Over the past year, we've been building content agencies with one mission: to become the modern-day PR partner for B2B teams.

There has never been more demand for content, and our job is to be the trusted partner for both the daily, recurring content needs and the big, occasional projects.

By doing this, we've had the privilege of working with dozens of freelance writers. And I've come to believe two things:

1. Writers are massively underserved. 
2. The layoffs happening inside large companies, combined with the misguided belief that Al will replace writers, are leaving thousands of world-class editorial talents in search of the next opportunity.

That's where I see the gap.

By acquiring, systemizing, and unifying job boards, we can create the infrastructure that serves these freelance writers at scale. A centralized, modern hub for the next wave of talent in media and content.

Always looking to connect to freelance writers!

Hiring at a ghostwriting agency is tricky. You’re looking for people who think fast, care deeply, and move in rhythm with clients. Here’s the framework we use to evaluate new hires across our core teams at Notice Me(dia): 

1. Our Account Manager/Content Writer function:

When it comes to account managers, we start with a 30-minute call. We walk through how we operate, who we serve, and where we’re going. It’s mostly a vision check and alignement. We’ve learned that hiring people who see the world the same way we do matters more than anything else. 

We’re not looking for 3–6 month partners. Our mission requires partners who align on yearly horizons. 

If things align, I’ll send over a short pre-recorded video - usually 15 minutes - where I walk through how we think, how we write, and how we tell stories. 

From there, they’ll write a few posts in my tone and voice. That gives me a real sense of accuracy and how well they understand nuance.

I also pay attention to response time. Not in a rigid way - we don’t expect sub-four-minute replies like we do with clients, but I like to see a sense of urgency. These are the people supporting our clients day-to-day.

2. Our editorial function, led by Sakshi ✨.:
 
When it comes to editors, the best test I’ve found is real-time collaboration. I’ll pull up a few AI-generated posts and ask them to share their screen and edit live. It’s the fastest way to see how they think. How they catch tone. How they move words around until it feels right.

3. Our GTM function, led by Jacob:
 
This is a different type of hire. Jacob, who leads it now, wasn’t even looking for the role, and nor was I hiring, when we began working together a year ago. He showed up curious, relentless, and a little shameless. 

He asked questions, followed up, and made himself useful until the role made sense. He enjoys the chase. Someone who can send 30 follow-ups without losing energy.

The common thread here is ultimately someone who devotes their working hours serving clients to whatever extend our support is needed.
