before you type a single letter. Here’s how:

They stop using chats without a Project.
• Use Projects. It’s like a folder.
• Create one for [Survey Prep, Care Plans, etc].
• Upload 2-3 docs your team actually uses.
• Now every conversation starts with context.

They upload Big Beautiful Examples.
• Find something that looks like what you need.
• Screenshot it or save as PDF.
• Drag it into the chat. 
• Type: “Match this tone and structure.”

They turn on Extended Thinking.
• There’s a toggle below the chat. Flip it on.
• Use it for investigations, RCA, etc.
• AI starts reasoning.
• Takes longer. So worth it.

They have AI act as a cranky ‘ol contrarian
• Write the first draft yourself.
• Prompt: “What’s weak here? 
• Promot: “What would get challenged? 
• Prompt: “Be specific.”
• AI pokes holes better than it builds.
• This is where my clients get the most value.

→ Bad prompt: “Write a care plan.”
→ Better: “Write a care plan that holds up under survey.”
→ Add: “Nothing my CNAs can’t implement. No jargon families won’t understand.”
→ Tell AI what done looks like.

→ “Under 200 words.”
→ “Skip the clinical language.”
→ “Don’t assume equipment we don’t have.”
→ What to avoid often beats what to include.

And, they reset before things get stupid.
→ After 15 messages, start a new chat inside the same Project.
→ Documents carry forward. Conversation history doesn’t.

How to know the setup is bogus:
- Blank chats. No reference docs.
- Vague asks like “make this better.”
- First draft accepted without pushback.
- One bad output, whole tool abandoned.

I keep hearing “AI doesn’t work for senior care”.
Bollucks!!!
You just need to quit using it like Google.
