Been running a play lately that's working stupidly well.

We monitor who follows our competitors on LinkedIn, then run those profiles through an enrichment stack to find the ones worth reaching out to.

I just cut my Claygent costs by ~90% without losing accuracy.

Most teams default to expensive models and never question it. At low volume, it looks fine. At scale, it quietly destroys margins.

I ran a controlled test across multiple models using OpenRouter, Clay, and Claude:

> Same prompt
> Same inputs
> Clear accuracy benchmark

Cheaper models matched the accuracy we needed at a fraction of the cost.

After 24 hours of playing around with it, here's what stood out:
→ Verified emails only (no wasted credits on bad data) 
→ Verified mobile numbers for multi-touch outreach 
→ NAICS and SIC codes (never seen this in a data platform before) 
→ No charge for duplicate records or failed lookups 
→ Company data included with person enrichment

I put together 3 use cases showing exactly how I plan to use this:

Just ran a head-to-head comparison of 3 LLMs for ICP classification across 10,000 companies.

The results surprised me.

The contenders: → Llama 4 Scout → Llama 3.3 70B → Qwen 38B

What I measured:

> Accuracy (agreement with baseline)
> Cost per classification
> Data quality (missing/failed classifications)
> Error patterns (false positives vs false negatives)

The results:

Llama 4 Scout came out on top with the best value score.

Llama 3.3 70B hit 89.4% accuracy - solid alternative, slightly more expensive (+7%).

Qwen 38B?

Cheapest by 3%... but 13% of classifications failed entirely and it missed 1 in 5 actual ICP companies.

The takeaway:

When you're picking models for classification tasks, don't just look at cost.

A 3% savings means nothing when you're missing 19% of your potential customers.

Sometimes the "expensive" option is actually the cheapest.
