I’m Chris Lomas, Founder & CEO of Hope4, a global humanitarian organisation working across Africa and Eastern Europe.

I don’t believe poverty is inevitable. And I don’t believe compassion should ever be passive.

My work is driven by a simple but demanding principle: Radical Love In Action. 

It steps into uncomfortable places. It chooses dignity over dependency, and long-term solutions over short-term optics.

Through Hope4, we support communities living in extreme poverty, refugees displaced by war, children with limited access to education or sport, and families who’ve been left behind by broken systems. 

Alongside immediate humanitarian relief, we focus heavily on job creation, skills development, and opportunity, because real change happens when people are empowered to build their own futures.

I’ve spent years working at the intersection of humanitarian response, business, and social impact, partnering with governments, NGOs, corporates, faith groups, and community leaders. I’m passionate about restoring trust in the charity sector through radical transparency, measurable impact, and accountability in real time.

Sport, for me, is also a powerful tool for change, teaching discipline, resilience, confidence, and belief where opportunity feels out of reach. And compassion doesn’t stop with people; through Hope4 Rescue, we also support stranded and injured animals, because how we treat the most vulnerable says everything about who we are.

I believe the opposite of poverty isn’t wealth.

It’s dignity, connection, opportunity, and Radical Love in motion.
