I'm currently developing a tech platform to connect changemakers who are ready to tackle the world's most pressing issues, from poverty to climate change and inequalities. We are still in the validation stage and looking for passionate people who want to get involved in any form or degree. If that sounds like you, please DM me now! 

Back in 2014, I started developing an interest in international development. A few trips to Western Sahara and the largest slums in Asia and Africa opened my eyes.

Since then, I've spent a large chunk of my spare time volunteering and collaborating with non-profits. I started a local chapter of Engineers Without Borders UK and ran it for nearly 2 years. I organised events with over 50 changemakers. I became a Trustee for a homelessness charity for over a year. I went 3 months volunteering as a Team Leader in a rural village in Nepal. 

Some people spend their life looking for their purpose in life. I was lucky enough to find it at age 25. 

My purpose in life is to change the world / make a difference / make an impact / help those who need it the most / eradicate poverty / end climate change / call it however you want. 

And I've realised that the most impactful thing I can do as an individual in my life is to help connect changemakers so that they can join forces and amplify their impacts. That's why I started Good Ripple - because we do need the good ripple effect that happens when 2 changemakers come together - the power of people gets unleashed. 

I'm committed to dedicating the rest of my life to helping those who need it the most, through empowering the people who are already helping them. And I believe TechForGood is the key to achieving the SDGs by 2030.

Leading a team of at least 50 community members, who are directly and indirectly engaged in the manufacturing and sales of an average of 60 tons of eco-friendly briquettes per month distributed to home users and businesses as well as institutions;

Coordinating with over 10 global business incubators, accelerators, and technical support organizations to support business growth, these include but not limited to Managers Without Border, Moving Worlds, The Charcoal Project, Insight Global Education, UNCDF, Melbourne Micro-finance Initiative,Challenges World Wide;

Working with a board of directors including the individual founders of the social business and impact investors, to build local capacities, toward franchising and community management of the social business through models such as ESOP. Additionally, developing a 10 years business strategy to grow the business sales and product portfolio.

Managing Director

Started 2012, part of the team to create, launch, and implement the services function at the social business. And as such the social business provided renewable training to the first independent mass of small and medium-scale briquettes businesses in Uganda as well as community members part of development agencies such as Heifer Int'l, GVEP, KCCA, and BRAC. Over 1,000 trainees and 100 businesses were created. 

Started 2015, part of the sales leadership team to scale the social business sales to an average of 50 tons of eco-friendly briquettes and 5,000 improved cookstoves per month to the B2B and B2C channels. The work involved the innovation of sales and distribution solutions with a team of over 15 youth sales reps and 50 micro-entrepreneurs across the 4 regions of Uganda.

Now a social entrepreneur managing a social business in the renewable and biomass sector, part of the team for 11 years. And also a pro-bono consultant supporting strategy and programs at the NGO, part of the volunteer team for 14 years. Annex to the aforementioned organizations, also doing ad-hoc consulting in social business model innovation and business management in the social business landscape.
