In 2019, Lex combined his purpose and passion for equality to create Alt Pronouns®, a Human Identity Brand empowering the Queer community.

Alt Pronouns makes Radically Queer™ Gender Free LGBTQ+ Pride Apparel that champions Queer identity and sparks conversations to advance equality and acceptance. Alt Pronouns' mission is to empower the Queer community by breaking down social barriers to allow people to discover and explore identity and self-expression.

In 2021, he further expanded the project to launch Queerist™, an LGBTQ+ community platform and publication. Queerist is an extension of Alt Pronouns' mission to champion Queer identity by amplifying Queer voices, enhancing Queer visibility and representation, illuminating Queer history, and helping the world understand what it means to be Queer.

I managed our internal creative department, overseeing all design work across private label and contract  consumer products and brands, and commercial and healthcare brands.

On the daily, I managed a team of 5 designers and production artists through 200+ annual projects from brand development, corporate identity, packaging design, art direction, photoshoots, line extensions, pitch concepts and presentations, to B2B ads, environmental and booth design, sales sheets, and other collateral materials, and mechanical file development, print production, and mockup development. I hired and managed external agencies to support creative and production project workload as needed.

I also developed a new Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for creative services, implemented a new digital artwork routing software, and trained 100+ employees on the new company program.
