Life knocks you down.

Getting back up, that’s the work.

Three years ago, I missed my biggest goal.

Months of effort.
Late nights.
All in.

Still missed.

I sat in my car, hands on the wheel, thinking,
“Was all that for nothing?”

It wasn’t.
It was the start of learning.

Failure didn’t finish me.
It taught me.

1. Rejection teaches
A “no” just means not yet.

2. Failure points.
It shows you what to fix.

3. Changing course isn’t weak.
It’s how you find what works.

4. The door that closes
is the one that pushes you toward the right one.

Your pace isn’t mine.

Not the kind that shrinks.
Not the kind that stays quiet.

The kind that steadies a room.

You see it when a leader doesn’t rush to prove they’re right.
When they pause long enough to listen.
When they admit, “I might be missing something.”

That moment does more than build trust.
It lowers defenses.
It creates space for better thinking.
It lets others bring their best forward.

Humility doesn’t weaken authority.
It strengthens it.

Because teams don’t follow perfection.
They follow leaders who are grounded enough to learn in real time.

I’ve watched confident leaders lose people by needing to be right.
And I’ve watched humble leaders earn commitment by staying curious.

The difference isn’t intelligence.
It’s self-awareness.

In practice, humility looks like this:
• Asking before asserting
• Listening without preparing a rebuttal
• Taking responsibility without self-flagellation
• Letting the work be bigger than your ego

In fast-moving, high-pressure environments, humility becomes a performance skill.

It keeps decisions clean.
It keeps relationships intact.
It keeps learning alive.

The leaders who last aren’t the loudest.
They’re the ones who know when to step back so the truth can step forward.

Developing and delivering complex design solutions to enable the AWS sales team, in their flow of work, to effectively use AWS tools, sales processes and revenue generating initiatives. Spearheading the use of AWS GenAI technologies to help sellers dive deeper into their customers’ needs.

Developed sales training program from the ground up for Experian’s Marketing Services sales team.  Built a full nine-week new hire onboarding program in the first few months in the role.  Drove sales trainings around product knowledge, sales processes, and selling skills.  Managed the learning management system (LMS) coursework and distribution of digital learning resources.

Instituted a national sales training program across the three highest revenue generating business units for the company.  Developed, customized and localized training content and micro videos to address audience needs.  Delivered compelling presentations, trainings and coaching sessions, both virtual and in-person.  Coordinated large scale events including district/regional trainings, buyer presentations, and internal sales meetings.  Managed and maintained training content library for U.S. field team/third-party partners (3PL).  Identified trends and made recommendations around data and sales analytics collaborating with internal/external stakeholders to enable sales growth across 20+ accounts.  Implemented Learning Management System (LMS) online courses (2 courses per product, across 40 products) and videos for internal audiences and third-party partners. Lead presenter at CES 2018 and 2019.

Managed the highest revenue generating Bose showroom/storefront in the country.  Delivered new product formal presentations to over 120 retail sales staff, 80 installers and 25 technicians.  Conducted on-the-floor coaching to help retail sales staff develop and enhance skills.  Delivered sales performance goals by achieving 140% to quota in FY17 (April-August), achieved growth in FY16 at 15% year over year (YoY), and 118% to quota in FY15 (August-March) when I was awarded rookie of the year and showroom of the year.

My current mission is delivering learner centric, performance based trainings for internal sales teams within Amazon Web Services (AWS), leveraging various delivery methods to drive growth.

I’ve spent the last 9 years working in a sales capacity across various industries including; Consumer Electronics, Telecommunications, Information Services & Data, Retail, Marketing, Renewable Energy, and CPG, where I developed a deep understanding of sales strategy and selling skills.  In that time, I have found my calling in the L&D space for several large-scale companies where I have built out sales training programs consisting of global and national new hire onboarding programs, selling skills models, product trainings, micro video trainings, and LMS coursework.  I have designed and delivered presentations to various audiences, ranging from boardrooms with Fortune 500 executives, large auditoriums with hundreds in attendance, to virtual & in-person classrooms.

I have a passion for developing teams to reach higher results.  As a futurist and technology pioneer, I am always looking for new and different ways to deliver better results.
