Getting to know clients better than they know themselves, and covering all aspects of the marketing mix to successfully achieve their marketing objectives in an efficient and cost-effective manner, allowed Coast to work closely and give a personal touch to each project.

My role at Coast Creative focussed on leveraging design to achieve customer interaction, engagement, buy in, and advocacy. Working with a multi disciplinary team of in-house and outsourced designers, I curated creative design and managed client projects, ensuring strong brand recognition and consistency across a range of platforms. 

I developed several design work flows for the in-house and outsourced talent. They were built to complimented that of Coast Creative's sister company, Coast Print and their franchise operator, Printing.com. Using project management systems to ensure that creative design and thinking were considered from the initial briefings, to post delivery customer reviews.

In this role I took the lead in directing all aspects of design for the Bigger Boat client base. Overseeing multiple projects simultaneously and working with internal team members and external agencies meant that clear and concise briefs were essential. I also worked with customers to ensure that the user experience was clear, simple and most of all effective in reaching the client's end goal. Testing UI/UX flows helped to create beautiful customer journeys that were captivating and built engagement.

Mosquito Menswear

Timeless style is at the core Mosquito Menswear. A small fashion retailer based in the North of England catering to the fashion conscious gentlemen of the North East. 

Predicting fashion trends and upcoming styles, I select brands and menswear items that both attract people to the store, but also allow customers to express themselves through the clothes they wear. 

In this role, I also designed and managed the e-commerce website, creating attractive landing and brand pages and ensuring a simple and effective user experience.

In my role at Energise-IT as Senior Designer, I took the lead in the graphic design team, working to customer briefs and developing concepts across print and digital. By keeping up to date with current design trends and industry innovations, I identified areas of the business that could be improved through creativity and design. These suggestions were taken on and helped to grow the brand reach. 

I was tasked with implementing a culture of 'design first' into the team which meant that all departments within the business worked with the design team to maximise the potential, from simple internal communications, to board room design ready for important stakeholder meetings.

As graphic designer at British Engines, I worked in the creative team and reported to the design manager. During my time here, I created eye catching designs for both print and digital for a number of their umbrella companies within the oil and gas industry. 

Ensuring that every element of design was both functional and visually appealing was a key goal of mine. Many communication included technical data so my attention to detail was of upmost importance, and something that I take pride in.
