"If you can’t do something forever, don’t do it on the first day of your marriage”
I didn't understand then. I was too naive.

But on my wedding day, sitting alone in my bridal room minutes before walking down the aisle, it came back to me.

I promised myself that I won’t set expectations I can't keep forever. Because one day I'll be exhausted. One day, I'll break.
And that's when resentment (usually) starts.

Since then, I had never put up a show.
I'd told the truth even when it was uncomfortable.
And that became the foundation of everything good in my marriage.

See, here's what most people don't understand:
The moment you start performing…
in relationships, in careers, in your brand: You're building on a lie.

You set expectations you can't sustain.
You burn yourself out trying to keep them.
And when you finally break, the other person feels betrayed.

But if you're honest from day 1?
If you say, "I can do this, but not like that"
If you say, "I have limits"

Then the person knows exactly who they're getting.
Not a performance. A person. A human.

I made a decision standing in my UK apartment that...



completely changed the trajectory of my life.

It was February. Cold. 
After weeks of grey skies and gloomy mornings, 
the sun finally shone through my window.
I felt it before I thought it.

My chest, which had been tight for months, relaxed. 
I smiled. Really smiled. For the first time in... I don't know how long.

And in that moment, I realized something.
I was standing at a crossroads.

If I stayed in the UK, I'd be on the loneliest journey ever. 
Proving myself to people who didn't want the proof. 
Building a career in someone else's system. 

Alone. Always defending why I was still here.

If I went back to India, I'd lose everything I'd built. 
The job, the credentials, the "look how far I've come" narrative. 
People would call it wasted time. A failure.

Both choices were deaths. Both were terrifying.

So I did what I always do when I'm paralyzed. 
I made a pros and cons list.
And then it hit me.

I don't actually need a job right now. I never have. 
I was staying for the idea of staying. 
For the validation of "making it" in the West.

But if I want to build a business? If I want to create something of my own?
Staying here won't get me there.
That's when I decided.
I was going back to India.

Not because I had all the answers. 
Not because I was suddenly confident. 
But because I finally trusted myself enough 
to walk away from what looked like success.

And that decision... that one moment of trusting myself over fear
It changed everything.

It's been two years now. And that trust has compounded.

I know I can build anything from ground up. 
I know I don't need permission. 
I know I don't need the "right conditions."
Because I've already proven it to myself.

Here's what I know now:
For women building careers and businesses, 
there's this invisible pressure to stay where it's safe. 

Where people understand your choice. 
Where you can point to your achievements and say: "See? I made it."
But real success isn't about staying.

It's about having enough faith in yourself to 
walk away from what everyone else calls success.

So here's my question for you:
What are you staying in because you're afraid of looking like you failed?
What would you build if you trusted yourself that much?

If your engagement is tanking right now, you're not alone.

My posts have been going into the void too. And I'm not gonna lie, it stings.

See, LinkedIn's algorithm has been brutal lately. Engagement is down across the board, even for creators with massive followings.

But here's what I realized: It's a filter.

The people chasing validation have already left.

The ones building for trends are panicking.

But if you're still here, showing up anyway that means you are driven by meaning.

Here's what to remember when the numbers drop:

✨ Your worth isn't measured in impressions — The value you bring doesn't disappear because an algorithm changed. Your expertise, your perspective, your story, none of that goes away when a post flops. You're building a body of work, not chasing viral moments.

✨ Low engagement reveals your real "why" — When the likes dry up, you discover if you're here to build something meaningful or just feed your ego. This is the test. Are you creating because you have something to say, or because you need validation?

✨ The best creators survive the valleys — Everyone celebrates the wins. But the people who make it keep posting when nobody's watching. They're driven by mission, not metrics.

This moment separates content creators from thought leaders.

Building yourself means showing up, especially when the algorithm doesn't reward it.

So tell me, what keeps you posting when engagement is down?

You're sitting at your desk, scrolling LinkedIn at 2 AM.
Again.

You study how others post. 
You analyse their hooks. 
You break down their structure. 

You think that if you could decode their formula, 
Maybe your posts would perform like theirs.
Nothing lands.

Meanwhile, you're drowning. 
Fighting voices that tell you to be smaller. 
Quieter. More likeable. 

Your real self is screaming to break free. 
Your old scripts are screaming to keep you safe.

And you think the problem is the algorithm.
But it's not.

You're not stuck because you lack ideas. 
You're stuck because you stopped thinking for yourself. 
You started performing instead.

So what if you stopped?

What if tomorrow morning, instead of opening your laptop to write the "perfect post," you grabbed your phone? 
→ Opened voice notes. 
→ Brain dumped everything. 
→ Raw. Unfiltered. No editing.

Twenty minutes. One hour of thinking. Five posts for the week.
Posts that sound like you. Not like you're copying someone else.

See, the algorithm doesn't reward perfection. 
It rewards thinking nobody else is brave enough to share.

Your ideas aren't weak. 
You're just too busy studying other people's brains to listen to your own.

Stop cracking the code. Start becoming the code.

Your brain is the algorithm. And right now, you're the only one with it.

the average person spends 2 hours daily on their phone.
That's an entire month per year. A full month. 

Spent comparing, consuming, scrolling
through other people's lives
instead of building your own.

When you stop consuming, you start creating. 
When you stop scrolling, you start seeing.

And here's the thing: I'm still delivering. Still focused. Still capable.
Even with chaos everywhere.

Because I'm not fighting my own attention anymore.
What if you don’t need to "do more in 2026." 
More content, more products, more hustle.
But what if the answer is the opposite?

What if you need a diet?
Not just a digital diet. 
A consumption diet. 
A mental diet. 
A social diet.

A literal everything diet.

So, cut the noise. Cut the comparison. 
Cut the things that don't actually serve you.

And watch what's left: just you, your work, and the capacity to actually think.

You are still the same person who created it.

See, Everyone says:
Build better habits. 
Optimize your routine. 
Read more. Exercise more.

But here's what they don’t tell:
When you're trying to change your behavior without changing your identity.
Nothing will truly ever change.

Think of it like this.
Your identity is the operating system.
Your behaviors are just apps running on it.
You can download all the productivity apps you want, 
but if your OS is broken, nothing works.

You can't think your way into new behavior. 
You HAVE to become a new person.

The person who wakes up early isn't someone
who forced themselves to wake up early.
They became someone who naturally wakes up early.
It is as simple as that.

So stop trying to out-discipline yourself.
Instead, ask yourself: Who do I need to become to have the life I want?

Not: What do I need to do?
WHO do I need to become?
Figure that out first. 
The rest follows.

Middle class people don't have time for trauma and depression.
I said what I said. Visualise this…

I'm sitting in library with my friend. We're having a normal chat. 
And then suddenly, tears just come.
My chest tightens. 
My throat clogs. 
I can't breathe.
I can't stop.

My friend is looking at me like 'what is happening?' 
And honestly, I don't know either.

All I know is: I have a shift tomorrow morning.
I'm bartending to pay my rent. 

I'm in the UK as a student with no family safety net. 
If I don't work, I don't eat. 

And I'm breaking down because I've been pushing for 5-6 years without stopping.

I thought about therapy. I needed it. Desperately.

But I couldn't afford to miss work. So I didn't go.

Instead, I did what I always did: I showed up.

And here's what happened, the more I worked, the better I felt.
Not because work solved the depression.

But because I was good at something. 
I was solving problems. I was making money.

I was taking care of things for myself. 
My body and mind started to believe: 
You can handle this. You're capable.

And that belief? That became the healing.

If you are someone, without a safety net, 
people who can't afford to fall apart,
trauma doesn't get processed in a therapist's office on a weekly schedule.

It gets processed while you're working. 
While you're showing up. 
While you're proving to yourself that you can survive this.

I'm not saying therapy isn't important. 

I'm saying: if you're middle class, if you don't have a family to fall back on, sometimes the only way through is forward.

And forward means action. 
It means work.

It means finding something you're good at and immersing yourself in it so completely that healing happens as a side effect of progress.

Fast forward to 3 years…
Now when I feel overwhelmed, I sleep on it. Then I act.

Because I learned a long time ago: your thoughts are one thing. 
Your actions are everything.

You can't control what happens to you.
You can't control your family's wealth.
You can't control your circumstances.

But you can control what you do next.
And that control? That's what saves you.

So if you're in the dark right now, don't wait for the perfect conditions to heal.
Don't wait for the therapist, the savings, the safety net.

Find something you're good at. 
Something that makes you feel capable. 
And immerse yourself in it.

Because sometimes healing isn't about feeling better.
It's about proving to yourself that you can survive anyway.

So tell me: What's one thing you're avoiding because it feels too hard? What if the only way through is forward?

You're not creating content because...


You're afraid your ideas AREN'T GOOD enough.

So you scroll.

LinkedIn. Twitter. YouTube. Newsletters.

You tell yourself you're "researching."

But you're drowning your voice in everyone else's thoughts.
You consume 20 creators in an hour. 
Their perspectives. Their frameworks. Their words.

And when you sit down to create? Nothing.
Because there's no space left for... YOU.

Your mind is polluted. 
Not with bad information—with too much information.

It's like eating without shitting. (Yeah, I said it.)
You're constipated with other people's ideas.

Here's the fix:
✨ Create FIRST. Consume second.
 Not after you "feel ready." Not after "just one more article." Now.
 First hour of your day = creation time.

✨  Write a post. Record a voice note. Draft an outline.
It doesn't have to be good. It has to EXIST.

✨  And when you're consuming content later, 
the moment an idea hits you, STOP READING.
Don't finish the article. Open your notes. Write the thought down. Build on it.

Most people think they need more information to create.
WRONG.

You need less input and more output.

Consumption is easy. Creation is hard. 
That's why most people stay consumers.

The algorithm doesn't reward people who "almost posted something."
It rewards people who ship.

Create more than you consume. That's the entire game.

So my stars, stop being a content hoarder. Start being a creator.

I'm turning 30 in 7 months and I can't stop comparing myself to…


20-year-olds building agencies, launching products, moving countries.
I watch them and think they have something I don't.
Privilege. Connections. Some genetic code for success.

But that's BULLSH#T.
The only thing separating them from me or you isn't talent or luck. It's audacity.

See, in your twenties, you think less.
You move faster.

You have this "I'll figure it out" pocket in your brain that actually works because you haven't collected enough evidence that it shouldn't.

You take risks because the cost of failure hasn't hit you yet. You experiment with your life like it's a playground, not a résumé.

Then you hit 30.

And suddenly you have data. 
You have failed projects. 
You have responsibilities.
You have reasons NOT to try.

The 20-year-old doesn't have negative reasons yet. They just have AUDACITY.

And let me tell you that audacity isn't gone. You just locked it away and told yourself you outgrew it.

But outgrowing recklessness and losing audacity are two different things.
One is wisdom. The other is fear pretending to be wisdom.

I'm not saying become irresponsible.

I'm saying: what if the thing you need at 30 isn't more strategy or more planning? 

What if it's the one thing you had at 20 that actually worked—the willingness to move before you're ready?

The 20-year-old isn't smarter than you. They're just younger than their own doubt.

On September 25th, I was sitting at my desk... 

staring at my screen.

I was recovering from typhoid and I realised the loop I was living in. 

Wake up. Serve clients. Sleep. Make content if there's time left. Repeat.

I should've felt productive. But I just felt... stuck.

Like I was running on a hamster wheel that kept spinning faster, 
but I wasn't actually going anywhere.

Nothing new was happening. 
I wasn't growing as a person. 
And honestly? I was starting to resent the work I used to love.

That's when I made a decision that felt risky but necessary:
I paused taking new clients.

Instead, I did something I haven't done since college:
I built myself a personal curriculum.

One subject. Deep dive. Full immersion.

And ever since then, 
My internal world started shifting. 
I am thinking differently. 
Connecting dots I'd never seen before. 
That restlessness? It turned into clarity.

The confidence that came from working on my growth started seeping into everything—my content, my client work, my conversations.

I don't feel like the same person sitting at that desk anymore.

Now, my friends, if you're feeling that same restlessness
that subtle dissatisfaction that something needs to change, listen to it.

Your subconscious is trying to tell you something. 
It is trying to give you a direction. Follow it.

→ You create content perpetuating the same cycle.

Black Friday isn't about deals anymore.

It's about feeding the algorithm of aspiration.

Every creator is selling you a version of themselves.
The aesthetic. The lifestyle. The "freedom."

And you buy it—literally.
Not because you need it.

Because you think it'll make you become someone.
Someone like them. 

But: That course won't change your life. 
That template won't make you a better creator. 
That productivity system won't fix your procrastination.
You will.

The moment you stop consuming and start creating,
That's when the change happens.

Not when you buy the thing.
When you build the thing.

I'm not anti-creator economy. I am the creator economy.

But I want you to recognise the game:
Most people are buying their way into an identity they could create themselves.
Break the loop at step two.

Stop internalising identity markers as requirements.
Your future self doesn't need more purchases.

It needs more reps.

Create first. Consume second.
That's how you escape the cycle.

Empty in three others.

Let me explain, we see this all the time.
Someone's killing it in their career but their body is falling apart. 
Or they're fit and disciplined but their relationships are hollow. 
Or they're connected spiritually but broke financially.

And they can't figure out why they are unhappy with their life.

It's because you're not a one-dimensional person.
You can't build a meaningful life focusing on just one area.

You have four dimensions that need development.
→ Vocation. Your work. Your money. Your impact.
→ Mind: How you think. Your beliefs. Your perspective.
→ Spirit. Your relationships. Your meaning. Your purpose.
→ Body. Your energy. Your health. How you show up physically.

You're only as strong as your weakest quadrant.
One weak area doesn't just affect that area. It bleeds into everything.

So here's what you do.
Honestly assess all four. Don't lie to yourself.
Before you set the goals for 2026, evaluate all the areas.
And then write the goals for each area.
That’s how you build.

The lines are getting blurred between AI and reality. 

So what can we do about it?

→ Practice being human. 

That's it. Simple.

Most people think they have a discipline problem.

They don't.

They have an identity problem.

You're not failing because you lack willpower.

You're failing because your brain is running a feedback loop that confirms the wrong story about who you are.

The Loop:

- You believe "I'm not consistent"
- You act inconsistently (because that's what inconsistent people do)
- Your brain collects proof
- The belief gets stronger
- Repeat

This is why New Year's resolutions fail.

Why you can't stick to habits.

Why motivation dies after two weeks.

You're trying to change behavior without changing identity.

And the loop will always win.

Unless you reprogram it.
