Publicist/ PR & Marketing Manager

Vinopolis

As PR, Marketing & Brand Development Manager I am responsible for leading the Vinopolis brand to build and deliver ambitious brand growth plans for the exclusive Wine Tour, 7 event spaces, 4 bars and restaurants, Laithewaites wine shop and Whisky Exchange. Managing all marketing and PR activity across the Vinopolis brand, developing and delivering an innovative agenda that focuses on increasing sales revenue through influencing retail, commercial and marketing activities. Directly  reporting into the Managing Director and attending Board meeting.

* Developing the Vinopolis brand to new audiences to drive revenue through all the departments
* Monitoring all press and journalist visits
* Creating and building further relationships with industry experts, the press and key clients
* On/ offline coverage of the brand
* Hosting client relationship dinners and receptions 
* Multiple stakeholder management across several key areas, e.g. product with the ability to influence across the whole business and drive and articulate Brand vision

WHY?

Because when I was a kid, I didn't have the confidence to communicate.

Be that down to environment, culture or not being able to find the write words.
I struggled to express myself. 


And I grew up in a world where I was split between two identities. 

The very Indian household - food, language, music and films. 🇮🇳
The very British world outside - food, language, music and films. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿


It was only natural for me to be gravitated towards the arts. 
Where I wanted to find my voice, my place in the world. 

With others. 🫵🏼


Motivated to break cultural glass ceilings and bring more authentic stories to the people.


I took to acting like a pigeon leaves a busy road. 
And what a journey. 🎬


But wait. 🛑 
There was more. 
I wanted to hone in on my storytelling chops.  🌻

The power of the voice, to be bang on the muller.


Finding voiceover was like finding that last crisp in the packet, when you thought it was empty.
Finding voiceover was like finding the last parking spot (anywhere) on a Saturday afternoon. 
Finding voiceover was like realising that you could in fact delete paperclip from Windows. 


And now I spend every day offering my human voice to creative content, collaborating with ambitious and fun agencies, directors, producers, studios and production companies around the world.


Using my voice was that bridge that helped bring my two worlds together. 🤲🏼

And I do this for my clients too. 
By giving their story a voice. 
So they can connect with their audiences, their people. 🌻
