The AMS Innovation Fellowship Think Tank Program bridges research-based concepts and creative, innovative ideas. During cohort 1, working with a team of Montessori Fellows, we addressed issues related to inclusion in the Montessori environment and how to support communities in addressing those issues.
My work in cohort 2 is focused on AI in Montessori environments, researching ways to support schools and teachers in utilizing AI in a manner that aligns with and supports the Montessori philosophy.

Additional work with AMS includes the development of an online course focused on digital citizenship through a Montessori lens.

Innovation Think Tank Fellow

- Extensive development of curricula to support student use of technology in a constructivist, hands-on and creative manner that aligns to Montessori philosophy.
-Guide students and teachers in use of tools and technologies to further hands-on, PBL strategies and techniques. Includes a broad range of tools and learning opportunities including laser cutting, 3D printing, coding, sewing, woodworking, etc. 
-Support diverse learners with strategies and tools to meet a wide range of learning needs.

Innovation and Educational Technology Department Head

-Develop curriculum and present lessons for students in a 9-12 classroom on all subjects.
-Manage classroom administration including student assessment and progress.
-Communicate progress with parents and work with administration and specialists to meet student needs as required.

By creating AI-powered courses and tools, we empower educators to adopt AI-enhanced teaching methods with confidence and ethical consideration.

Currently, I am spearheading the development of an innovative AI-powered platform designed to address critical challenges in education, including teacher retention, burnout, and accessibility to mentorship and professional development. This project reflects my deep commitment to leveraging technology in ways that solve real problems for educators and students alike.

With over 20 years of experience in educational technology and curriculum development—most notably at Rogers Park Montessori School—I specialize in applying innovative tools within Montessori and other K-12 settings. My goal is to bridge the gap between traditional educational practices and the latest EdTech innovations, creating thriving learning environments for both educators and students.

I am also passionate about fostering equitable, inclusive learning spaces that drive measurable growth for all learners. I believe in collaborative, data-driven strategies that not only advance academic outcomes but also support the holistic development of students and educators alike.
