I developed the Voxburner brand (mission, values, vision) and was responsible for its launch products.

Responsibilities included: 

- Planned, managed and delivered all consumer research projects: quantitative and qualitative, internal and client; 
- Managed Voxburner Academy of UK 16-24s (online focus group); Researched, wrote and edited insight-led content for Voxburner.com and external publications;
- Presented research findings at Voxburner events, client debriefs and industry conferences; 
- Curated Voxburner events (Youth Marketing Strategy; Youth 100: The UK’s Top Brands According To 18-24s) to feature topical and interesting speakers/content across trends, brands and sectors. 
- Line-managed a team.

**For a 6 month period October 2012-February 2013 I managed this role part-time alongside working part-time in the Widening Participation team at the University of Brighton, increasing the participation of under-represented groups in higher education – with a focus on 16-18s from low-income families and low participation areas.**

I founded Reach in 2002 and it was acquired by The Beans Group in 2012. The business became 'Voxburner', delivering youth marketing events, research and editorial products for a B2B audience of global marketers.

Clients included: Accenture, Orange, Cancer Research UK, Dazed, Camp America, Cabinet Office, Peperami, Uni of Salford, Uni of Brighton, Hastings College, Welsh Development Agency, NUS, NHS, ParcelForce Worldwide, The Children's Society, Poke, 7th Chamber, Them, Footprint Books, AvenueQ, Michael McCabe, Fox, Dreamworks, Beatwax, Barkers, CMS Cameron McKenna, Blinkbox.

I created Youth Marketing Strategy in 2011, a conference for brands, agencies and media owners interested in 16-24s. YMS has grown into a significant franchise, with four London events to date, one New York, and others scheduled for North America and Australia.

Responsibilities:

-- Devised and executed marketing campaigns and wrote strategic plans for brands, agencies and organisations targeting 16-24 demographic;

-- Edited reachstudents.co.uk, a resource for marketing professionals covering research, trends, supplier recommendations and best practice;

-- Wrote and self-published Targeting Students: A Marketing Guide. Founded Youth Marketing Strategy conference franchise.

-- Delivered professional bespoke training in specialist areas of youth marketing under moniker ‘Coolhand’ (clients included University of Brighton and Enterprise NI).
