Serves as the Utah Commission Program Officer with expertise in developing, funding, implementing, and evaluating AmeriCorps program needs goals, programs, delivery systems, and outcomes. Directs all technical operations and activities necessary to maintain and provide support for the statewide delivery of the AmeriCorps program.
Ensures all components of the AmeriCorps Program are implemented in compliance with the federal CNCS.
Reviews and analyzes federal regulations, state laws and AmeriCorps administrative requirements to formulate appropriate policies, procedures and interpretation to guide successful implementation of the Commission's AmeriCorps programs. Responsible for new program/organization recruitment, contract development, negotiation and monitoring, and programmatic auditing; reviews and makes planning and funding recommendations for statewide program. Creates and maintains tracking/monitoring system to meet federal grant compliance requirements; communicate Commission policy and procedures to program organizations.
Evaluate program financial and programmatic performance. Design, modify and implement Commission's risk-based monitoring strategy to ensure consistent oversight of state AmeriCorps programs; assess AmeriCorps program goals and accomplishments to determine effectiveness. Serves as liaison with the Commission Board committee. Writes the annual Request for Applications (RFA) for AmeriCorps; develops scoring criteria; coordinates and manages the grant review process and communicates with applicants. Market and communicates the AmeriCorps Program and Commission Programs and services to the public; assists with planning/implementing/fundraising for the UCOV annual volunteer conferences.
Completes research on best practice; collects data, analyzes and develops reports; Maintains statistical information on program performance and communicates data to stakeholders; manages ongoing AmeriCorps evaluation and system improvement processes.

National Service Coordinator

Utah Valley University

•	Prepare annual accounting reports and oversee acknowledgement materials for donors. 
•	Maintain accurate records of private scholarship funds and track growth and set benchmarks as endowment grows. 
•	Conduct end of year reconciliation of all scholarship funds to determine next academic year award amount. 
•	Steward other annual and endowed funds for programs, professorships, and building projects as assigned by the Senior Director of Donor Relations & Scholarships Programs.
•	Report annually to Foundation regarding new scholarships. 
•	Coordinate and supervise creation of individual scholarships with Foundation Accountant, Data Personnel, and Financial Aid Scholarship Coordinator. 
•	Coordinate with departments on campus to ensure top scholarship candidates apply. 
•	Interact with and direct concerns from prospective scholarship recipients.
Sterwardship & Foundation (60%)
•	Prepare correspondence for the President.
•	Plan, draft, and edit informational and marketing/communications resources and materials to promote effective donor relations, including correspondence, brochures, reports, donor honor rolls, web pages, web 2.0 or social network sites, and other collateral materials.
•	Coordinate with Direcvtor of Publications to launch and maintain a suite of donor newsletters. 

•	Steward other annual and endowed funds for programs, professorships, and building projects as assigned by the Senior Director of Donor Relations & Scholarships Programs.
•	Reconcile discrepancies in Foundation funds with internal and external constituents. 
•	Help implement the University’s overarching donor stewardship efforts.

Part of the planning and implementation team for bringing behavioral health professionals on board with electronic health records.
