Lost Ink was a London-based womenswear fashion brand (previously owned by La Moda in Russia). It was
founded in 2014 and grew to become a well-established wholesale brand, nominated for the Drapers Awards of Best Young Fashion Brand 2018. With a retail value of over £50 million the brand was sold across 35 partners globally, including Zalando, ASOS and Nordstrom.

Key Achievements:

● Built and led the footwear department to be the most profitable in the company and increased the
footwear mix from 21% to 40% of the company business
● Sourced a strong supplier network in the Far East & Europe from scratch
● Successfully purchased commercial, innovative products at competitive prices through strong
negotiations, singularly developed collections of up to 400 options across all footwear, bags and
sunglasses
● Commenced as junior buyer, promoted to buyer within seven months, later given the further
responsibilities of wholesale manager selling product to retailers worldwide
● Identified new wholesale opportunities through extensive research into different markets, leading to
expansion in company distribution and increased profits

Responsibilities:

● Buying ranges for multiple customers/countries (including Europe, Middle East, Canada, Russia),
selling the collections to worldwide wholesalers and analysing country specific needs
● Regular trips to the Far East to build relationships with suppliers
● Planning with budgets of £20 million, managing OTBs and reviewing product performance daily
● Building and maintaining relationships with internal teams, suppliers and customers
● Managing and motivating team members including assistant buyers, junior account managers and
interns
