As responsible for the e-commerce platform I ensure it responds to the business growth strategy by providing technical direction and prioritization of performance and scalability.

I do the platform lifecycle management in short product development iterative cycles validating learning through business-hypothesis-driven experimentation and evaluation by KPIs focused on growth and delivered value.

I do plan and implement architectural needs, infrastructure, and new features. 

Timeular is an early-stage start-up where we work with entrepreneurship attitude in a fast-changing environment. I strive for implementing good practices and follow strategic plans which we re-elaborate often. Timeular its a distributed team around Europe and Canada.

Head of Ecommerce

Set up and creation of the team in Barcelona. Managing international recruiting and hiring technical talent. Defining skillset and competencies for new positions. Coaching new hires into the company processes and best engineering practices as long contributing to the creation of a particular identity and culture for the Barcelona team.

Co-managing projects with German partners. I worked for retailers and media publishers around Germany and also for industrial manufacturers on international projects. Frequently traveling to headcuarters and to attend meetings with customers.

I provided technical analyisis and direction to fulfill the present and further busniess requirements and processes for our clients in their digital transformation journey in the implementation of new digital busniess models. I planned and executed large scale data migrations from legacy systems to new and innovative solutions provided from them. 

I introduced agile practices to transform the company internal's process to improve our delivery times and value by coaching team members and acting as an agile advocate in all organization statements. It introduced a more effective cross-functional collaboration between engineering, product management, and user experience experts. New processes reduced dependencies and solved blockers and impediments.

I participate in any step of the projects, from the inception and catching requirements to forecasting through the agile planning techniques. Designed Drupal architectures for the projects and teach new team members the best practices to deliver quality solutions.

Implemented solutions with user-centered approaches with value-driven design. Coordinating the delivery of web projects with marketing campaigns and other business processes. I have been in charge of large database migrations.

With over 10 years of experience in web-based software development and agile project management, I am an IT Domain Owner at AXA Partners, a global leader in insurance and assistance solutions. 

In this role, I lead a team of 40 colleagues to deliver the AXA eCommerce global asset for all business lines across the globe, using state-of-the-art technologies and an API-first architecture. I am responsible for the budget, staff, strategy, and stakeholder alignment, as well as coordinating the eCommerce rollout in EMEA countries and dozens of simultaneous projects. I also apply my expertise in data governance, analytics, and innovation to enable digital transformation and business growth for AXA Partners and its customers.

I am passionate about technology, big data, and new challenges, and I constantly seek to improve my skills and knowledge. I am currently pursuing an Executive MBA at ESADE Business School, and I have completed a Big Data & Analytics program at EAE Business School. I also hold a Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science. 

Besides my professional and academic endeavors, I enjoy sharing my insights and experience as a speaker and a teacher. I have been a professor on the Digital Marketing & eCommerce master degree at EAE Business School since 2021, and I have collaborated with Videocation as an eCommerce expert, creating video content for their platform. I have also presented at various events and meetups, such as Wordcamp Bilbao and Barcelona Drupal, on topics related to Vue.js, WordPress, and natural language processing.
