Christoph Meise

We brought our team from all over the world into one huge villa.

Not for work. For us, for fun, to celebrate life.

Scripe is fully remote, no office, no HQ.
Everyone lives their own life, in their own place.

After months of hard work, it felt SO good to finally land in Koh Samui together. 🏝️

We shared one GIANT roof.
With private chef, pool, cinema, ocean view and all partners invited. 🥳

We did a bit of everything:

→ Deep talks on the terrace at night
→ Games and stupid jokes in the living room
→ A whole film crew and photographer shooting us
→ Strategy sessions and design thinking workshops
→ Prepared our mobile app launch (more on that very soon 👀)

At one point I looked at the villa and thought:
“𝗗𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝘂𝘅𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀?”

For me the answer is 𝘆𝗲𝘀.

We save a lot of money by not having an office.
We take that money and invest it into intense offsites.

Because these days are not only “team events”.

They are our celebration of the company we build.They are our reminder that life and work can be one shared journey.

I feel proud of what we build at Scripe.
More than that, I feel lucky.

The team feels like my closest friends now.
People I deeply care about, and want to win with.
