I hate New Year's Resolutions.

Saying "I want to get fit" is easy, it costs nothing. 
Committing is different, it requires skin in the game. 

So far I've signed up for:
2 Hyrox Series Quebec events (one singles, one doubles) 
1 HYROX doubles event in Ottawa 
1 Spartan race 

and I'd like to add a Half Marathon to that and maybe another HSQ Event to that.

The difference to me? 
"I want to get faster" is a hope. 
A race registration is a promise.

You don't need a New Year's Resolution to make a change.
You need to put your money where your mouth is.

A small but vocal group of humans — plus my mother — call me the Joan Rivers of Marketing. I didn’t ask for that title, but I also didn’t give it back.

My work focuses on helping founders, CEOs, and operators stop sounding like they were assembled by committee. When people understand you quickly, everything gets easier: sales, hiring, partnerships, even that awkward moment when someone pretends they’ve heard of your company before.

My entire approach runs on feral specificity.
Egregiously unique. Audaciously effective.
Ideas with teeth. Narratives with posture. Writing that doesn’t need a spotlight to command attention.

I’m joining Plannedly as Fractional Chief Marketing Officer.

On paper, yes, this is wedding tech. In reality, it’s about how people make decisions when the stakes are emotional, financial, and deeply personal, all at the same time.

Weddings are one of the few moments in adult life where you’re expected to make a long list of high-stakes decisions while emotionally exposed, time-constrained, and surrounded by advice that’s often well-meaning but rarely structured. People call it magical. What it usually feels like is cognitive overload layered on top of very real relational and financial pressure.

You’re choosing vendors, venues, timelines, aesthetics, and commitments that shape your future while your nervous system is already maxed out. Most tools respond to that moment by offering more options, more noise, and more urgency. That rarely leads to better decisions.

Plannedly exists in the overlap most software doesn’t know how to hold. Love and logistics. Emotion and systems. She’s ambitious without needing to perform it, deeply romantic without being naive, and operationally rigorous without losing warmth. Justin Korelc, the Chief Technology Officer, brings a systems-first steadiness that shows up everywhere it matters. The way he thinks about architecture, tradeoffs, and long-term durability quietly shapes a product that respects complexity instead of amplifying it. Together, they operate with an alignment that isn’t loud, but is foundational.

The work ahead isn’t about growth hacks, artificial urgency, or pretending we’re bigger than we are. It’s about building trust before asking for anything. About creating infrastructure that serves users, vendors, and partners with equal respect. About showing up with a presence that feels calm, considered, and credible in an industry that rarely rewards restraint.

We’re building Plannedly carefully, visibly, and with intention. No overfunded sameness. No inflated mythology. Just clear positioning, honest storytelling, and a product designed to reduce stress rather than monetize it.
