My official stage debut in London!!! 🎭 And I met one of my best friends at the same production! ✨ 
I just moved to London and knew I need to get this part the moment I read the script! 
Set in 1910 in Sweden I was the lady of the house and lead in the play. It was also the first suicide I had to play on stage. Too intense? No worries - we used the same fake blood as Alfred Hitchcock (chocolate syrup).🍫

My first English short film and I was sooo excited! 🇬🇧
I was applying at drama schools in London for almost 4 years until I finally got accepted at LAMDA, one of my dream academies. In January the studies started, in the meantime this short film came in. During the week it was study time, on the weekend we shot the movie. 
Now, it almost feels weird to not work on weekends. 🚀

This was probably the easiest show I've ever been in! Pride and prejudice ❤️
Jane Austen was my favourite writer for years, I read more books written by her than anyone else (except Shakespeare, but he wrote plays, so that doesn't count) and then I got cast as Elizabeth Bennett - THE DREAM. According to Myers-Briggs we are the same person - no wonder it was so easy for me to be her. 
Fun fact - The director is now one of my best friends. 👯‍♀️

Three months later I was performing for children, jumping up and down as the princess in basically every fairy tale you know.  And for the records - children are the hardest critics! 😮‍💨

This was a project from the heart and my first Konstantin Stanislavski (famous acting coach) attempt. The grande dame and German actress, Gudrun Gundelach, made it her mission to stop human trafficking and picked me as one of her leading ladies. I was incredibly honoured and put all the work in to make this as realistic as possible and support her good cause! 
This was also my first acting award, and I was so excited I almost passed out! 🏆

2 years before I moved to Berlin - the place to be as an actress. I was just finishing my A-levels when I got into this production at Theater Strahl. A friend of mine from my home town recommended me and 2 months later I was on stage. So what do we learn? Referrals, people, is the way to go! 🤝

👩‍💼 When I got offered the AE role I was super excited for the opportunity and also super terrified of not being able to keep up with my SDR success story. 😶 
But instead of losing speed, my experience as a SDR kicked it off completely! I had my outbound strategy ready, my calendar was organised to execute on it and the relationships I nurtured for 12 months finally paid off. The result: 341% of the Financial Year. 
My learning - SDR was the best way for me to start a career in sales! 🏎

1st of September - my official sales birthday! And gosh what a party we had! 🎉

On top of that this was probably a subconscious start to founding SDRs of Germany. 🚀
It was the first time I actually experienced the differences between languages, regions and cultures. Just like so many I was the only German-speaker in my team to expand the customer base in DACH. 
It was a super challenging and incredibly rewarding start into a new chapter.
Three months in, they started calling me the DACH-destroyer. One of my proudest accomplishments. #100over100 🏆

They gave me a chance to prove myself and blessed me with amazing managers who never allowed me to doubt myself, instead they saw my potential and enabled me to reach it. I’m Helena, a German Actress and Entrepreneur who has made it her mission to help Sellers and Sales Teams succeed in the DACH market.

Why Sales?
When the pandemic hit, I was living in London.
Theatres shut down overnight and I had to find a new way to make a living. That’s when I started in Sales, fell in love with it and quickly realised how many companies wanted to break into the DACH market but had no idea how to help their sellers generate and close pipeline.

Fast forward 5 years.

A Monday Motivation for my fellow Outbound Sellers! 
Just because one prospect doesn’t like your outreach style doesn’t mean it’s wrong. 

I’ve had people respond with “How dare you?” 
And I’ve had people respond with “I love your style!” 

That contrast is normal. 
Outbound is not about playing it safe. It’s about testing, analysing your data and doubling down on what works. 

If 90% of your prospects respond well, that’s your signal! 
Not the one loud voice who didn’t. 

And remember: what someone says about your outreach says far more about them than it ever will about you! 

It does not define your value as a seller or as a human! 

Keep experimenting. Keep improving. Keep going.

Here is how you find your perfect pitch in less than 2 minutes! 😍

Almost every time I work on a pitch with a seller, we start with a long list of features instead of the actual core of the solution.
And with core I mean the actual problem you solve, not another bullet point in your product sheet.

That’s when I remembered a simple acting exercise we use to understand the deeper motivation of a character. And it worked every time in sales. ❤️

Here’s how it goes:

Step 1
Set a timer for 60 seconds and say your pitch.
If you go over time, repeat until you hit 60 seconds or less.

Step 2
Set a timer for 30 seconds and say your pitch again.
If you go over time, repeat until you hit 30 seconds or less.

Step 3
Set a timer for 15 seconds and pitch again.
If you go over time, repeat until you hit 15 seconds.

That final version is your pitch!

Here’s why it works.
In step 1, your brain gets everything out that feels important.
With each shortened version, you put your brain under pressure and force it to choose only the information it needs to 'survive'.

That is how you get to the core of your pitch and make it truly relevant.
