As the Community Manager at NoCodeOps, I have the privilege of nurturing an engaging and inclusive space for professionals passionate about the no-code movement within the realm of operations.

My key responsibilities include:

Community Building: From a starting point of 50 users, I've built and fostered a community of nearly 1,000 active members on our Discord server. This involved creating user personas, an application process, and an onboarding sequence.

Event Management: Organized and hosted weekly virtual events, featuring expert guest speakers from the no-code space. This not only boosted member engagement but also established NoCodeOps as a trusted source of industry knowledge.

Content Creation: Created and managed content across multiple platforms including YouTube and LinkedIn, resulting in significant increase in viewership and engagement.

Partnerships & Collaborations: Developed a partnership program with defined benefits and tiers, attracting 18 partners. Additionally, collaborated with external agencies to offer educational bootcamps for our members.

Leadership & Team Management: Onboarded and managed an assistant, which significantly developed my leadership and people management skills.

My role extends beyond these tasks as I constantly strive to bring value to our community members, exploring new ways to foster collaboration, drive engagement, and promote the shared learning experience.
My commitment to our community at NoCodeOps is driven by a deep belief in the transformative power of the no-code movement and the communities that support it.

Passionate community builder and tech enthusiast, I have successfully transitioned from working as a primary school teacher to becoming a tech leader, leveraging my skills in UX/UI design and Webflow development.

As the Founder of the Floxies Community, I've created an empowering platform for over 1500 women in UX/UI design and Webflow development. Our weekly "Wonder Wednesdays" live events provide our members with valuable insights from industry experts, fostering a vibrant and supportive learning environment.

In addition to Floxies, I work as the Community Manager for NoCodeOps, where I've built a thriving community centered around no-code operational solutions.
Our weekly live events bring in thought leaders from the no-code space, further enhancing the knowledge and skills of our community members.

My unique blend of creativity, technical skills, and community-focused approach has not only allowed me to build and nurture these communities but has also established me as a thought leader in the tech space.

I’m continuously seeking out new ways to grow and optimize our communities, fostering a culture of learning and mutual support. I believe in the transformative power of communities and the limitless potential they hold for individual growth and industry innovation.

In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano, playing soccer and playing video-games
(yes, I love playing in general! 😜).

This was a particularly special one. 🇬🇧🇮🇹

I had the honour of speaking at the Italian Cultural Institute London, sharing my journey — in Italian — with a room full of curiosity, energy and meaningful conversations.

We explored:

▫️AI and automation beyond the buzzwords

▫️how global communities are built and sustained

▫️leadership across borders

▫️and what must remain deeply human in a tech-driven world

As always, my message was clear:
AI shouldn’t replace people - it should empower them.
That's what I work on every day in NoCodeOps by Zapier at Zapier, and it’s also why I founded Floxies Community: because I strongly believe in collective growth.

Dominic Norton found out I was speaking at Event Tech Live today so not only did he come to support, but I also got to witness his absolute talent in action, representing and advocating for Zapier from stand to stand. 🔥

For those of you who don't know, Dom is a no-code educator, social entrepreneur, and an amazing educational content creator.
He's worked at the intersection of culture and technology for years; from founding incredible initiatives like 'Missing Black People' to teaching no-code in universities and helping thousands of people turn ideas into real products without needing to write complex code.
He's one of those rare educators who makes things feel simple, accessible, and genuinely empowering.
Genuinely chaffed to have had the chance to spend some time together and learn some more from you today, Dom! 🙂

I just had the most amazing weekend recharging my batteries after Event Tech Live - (I followed your advice, Valentina!) 

During our panel, we dove into all things:

▫️Consistency
▫️Engagement, retention, activation, revenue
▫️The reality of running community AND events
▫️Mental health

I'll be honest - I always feel a little anxious before going on stage.
But all it takes is four incredible community pros jamming together…
and suddenly the fire kicks in. 🔥

Francisco Opazo, Valentina Ruffoni, Faisa Mohamed, it's always a pleasure to learn, grow and build alongside you!

It's so refreshing to talk to people who get you. 
Emile van Zyl and I just had a great chat about all things community and building professional communities for companies on Discord. 

We talk to thousands of people every day, we move so many pieces internally, we build trust and relationships, we push the cart whilst elevating others. 

Yet our jobs can make us feel so lonely and invisible at times. 

We know what we do and why we do it, we just constantly need to learn on how to improve the story we tell.

Working remotely sometimes makes you forget how powerful human connection really is.

Today I headed down to the Zapier stand as SaaStr.ai London event, spending some time with the brilliant Claudia Cafeo 🏳️‍🌈, Kelly Goss, Dominic O Norton LTD  and of course, some present and future Zapier customers.

As CX leaders, it can be easy to move further away from direct customer communication, outside of escalation calls. Our day is filled with other tasks, priorities, and challenges. But (and it’s a huge but), being able to explore use cases, unlock customers, and discover new potential opportunities in real time is such a privilege that is real easy to forget.

If you want to be a better CX leader…

🗣️ Talk to your customers directly. 

❗️ Understand what’s important to them.

🤝 Demostrate that you are real, and you really do care.

These seemingly small things that get pushed down your priority list is what got you to where you are today. Don’t lose sight of it.
