I focused on recruiting across Digital Production, Client Services and Digital Strategy disciplines. Also developed capabilties and networks in User Experience, Search Marketing and Operations.

Clients were primarily within the Digital and Advertising Agency space, also encompassing TV Stations, Publishers, Online Business and other client side digital teams.

Achievements:

 - Built a successful and profitable desk specialising in Digital Advertising from scratch

My exciting initiation into the world of recruitment!

This was a great experience where I learned the ins and outs of recruitment, wrapped my head around the fast paced nature of the "Big Smoke" and tackled (and survived) the dreaded GFC.

Throughout my time at Respect I was responsible for recruiting nearly every role in digital agencies that didn't actually Develop or Design things.

Achievements:
 - Successfully pitched Respect's first retained in-house recruitment campaign with Wunderman
 - Took on team lead responsibilties
 - Placed Client Service Directors, Digital Strategy Directors, Business Development Directors,  Technical Architects, Head of Digital, Executive Producers
 - Built long term working relationships with many of the top digital and ATL agencies in Sydney... many of which I have maintained throughout my entire career

Contract internal recruitment position coordinating all recruitment activities for Wunderman for approximately two months.

This was an opportunity to work alongside the HR team and hiring managers to help with the recruitment of a new team, following the win of a major new client. I gained unique insight into the inner workings of the agency and some of the challenges faced internally by hiring managers throughout the hiring process.

Was able to assist in the recruitment of 12 people within the 2 month period and gained a greater insight into resource planning.

Over the past decade I've worked as Head of People & Culture at some of the best advertising agencies in the world, transformed the culture of teams at the likes of Playstation, uncovered and operationalised the purpose and values of ASX listed tech companies, coached founders and leaders of businesses with 200 people down to 2 people, created and facilitated more training workshops than I can even remember... and had some incredibly moving and fulfilling conversations with individuals who just needed a hand (or an ear).

I am haunted by the idea that most people will spend the majority of their life working in jobs that, at best they "kinda like" and at worst suck the energy out of them. Even worse is the idea that Founders create companies and end up "trapped in the prison they built", with no idea how to get out.

My mission is to teach 1 million Founders and Leaders how to create Fulfilment-Led Companies; where they achieve massive business success AND fulfilment for themselves and their employees.

In my previous role I managed two retainer accounts, Tourism Australia and Cashrewards. I was tasked with leading media and influencer outreaches, managing team member outputs, keeping the clients well-informed, and ensuring the accounts ran smoothly day-to-day. I also worked across the PlayStation AU and Sonos accounts as an SAE to AM level, and supported with ad-hoc campaign tasks for Uber, KitKat, and Place Management NSW. 

In addition to media outreach, my role involved working with content creators to produce short form user-generated video content featuring various client products or services. I managed the production process from start to finish, liaising with both talent and client to ensure a smooth process. 

A key aspect of my role was managing stakeholder expectations. My intention is to always keep the client happy and confident in my team, without compromising the content or over-promising on outputs or solutions.

I learnt to adapt quickly to changing stakeholder needs, and how to work effectively with a small team in a fast-paced environment. My strong relationship building skills meant I was tasked with developing connections with journalists, particularly within technology, finance, and events media. This focus on building trusting relationships meant that in times of urgency I was able to secure media coverage quickly and efficiently.

My key responsibilities include media outreach and placements for multiple domestic international brands, predominantly tech clients Satechi, Nanoleaf, Online Retailer Expo, and Breast Cancer Trials. My main responsibilities and duties: 

-Lead media practitioner for the Satechi brand in Australia and NZ - devising monthly campaigns and media outreaches for media placements in Australia's biggest publications News.com and Sydney Morning Herald, as well as a multitude of other print and online outlets. 
-Creating, initiating, and managing campaigns for a number of clients ranging from tech to alcohol in collaboration with the client's ideas and targets and locking in consistent coverage to hit monthly KPIs. 
-Liaising with various clients and management to discuss results, solutions, and future plans to further the brand and also build the relationship with the client. 
-Incorporating brand and corporate guidelines to achieve excellent brand management and marketing.  
-Locating, contacting, and contracting influencers to endorse our brands, and managing the production of coverage they provide. 
-Coordinating film and media crews at events, providing support to make sure coverage is acquired and produced. 
-Managing Rockets' social media presence, providing and posting content for Instagram, TikTok, and Linkedin. 
-Managing multiple campaigns, product launches, and influencer outreaches simultaneously, making sure KPIs for each are hit each month. 
-Building and maintaining relationships with many local and national journalists, whilst also learning the media landscape further to make new connections.

-Writing at least 5 news pieces a day on a variety of topics spanning music, politics, to pop culture. 
-Choosing and editing engaging images to apply to the articles. 
-Completing 5 to 6 articles quickly and efficiently to a professional standard. 
-Filling in for music reviews when needed, completing extra music pieces on top of my set news articles.
-Happy Mag boasts a huge online audience of nearly 350k followers therefore copywriting editing is completed to a professional standard.
