I'm Cole, an entrepreneur with a running addiction. 

I am a Co-Managing Partner at Zuvi Investments, a joint family office dedicated to helping small businesses transition into established middle-market companies. 

Previously, I was the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of GREEN CREATIVE, a commercial-grade LED lighting company. My partner and I bootstrapped the business to over $60m in annual sales, successfully exiting to a PE fund. Our journey is chronicled in our book, “Flipping The Switch” (available now).

I was also a co-founder of Hey Hero Labs, a platform for personalized video content creation. The company was acquired by Sanctuary Ventures in 2022.

Outside of business, I'm driven by my passion for running. Having recently turned 40, I've achieved personal bests that surpass my times from 20 years ago. I'm always experimenting with new techniques and training methods to optimize performance and longevity.

LaTerra Development

LaTerra is one of the most active real estate investment and development companies in Sun Belt markets across the United States.

LaTerra has more than 3,000 multifamily and build for rent units and over 1,000,000 square feet of self storage space in development. The estimated value of LaTerra’s current projects at completion exceeds $3 billion.

In December 2021, LaTerra secured a $300M equity commitment for a self storage development platform. 

In addition to various institutional equity joint ventures for its residential vertical, LaTerra has $600M in direct equity commitments from pension funds.

Chris was selected for Real Estate Forum’s 50 Under 40 list and Los Angeles Business Journal’s Who’s Who in Real Estate and is often featured in media such as CNBC, The LA Times, Dallas Business Journal, The Real Deal, and California Insider.

SnowGlobe Music Festival

Chris co-founded SnowGlobe Music Festival, which was ultimately acquired by MTV. 

SnowGlobe became a globally-recognized brand. The annual music festival featured winter action sports along with the largest musical acts in the world, drawing over 50,000 attendees over the three day event. 

Chris was responsible for raising the capital and structuring the investment vehicle prior to the inaugural 2011 festival.

PGIM Real Estate

PGIM is a global real estate private equity investment fund manager with $52 billion of gross assets under management. 

Most recently at PGIM, Chris held the position of Director, overseeing all development activity west of the Mississippi River with over 20 development deals at a total cost basis greater than $1 billion. In this capacity, Chris was responsible for negotiating Joint Venture documents for all new and existing partners, leading deals through closing, and overseeing the construction process. Prior to Chris’ role overseeing West Coast development, Chris spent 5 years on the West Coast acquisitions team. As an acquisitions Associate, Chris managed a team of analysts and worked on closing over $1 billion in acquisitions including spearheading the recapitalization of a $370 million, 9-asset data center portfolio with Digital Realty (the largest data center REIT in the world) and the purchase of three San Francisco high rise office buildings worth a total of approximately $600 million. Chris started at PREI as an Analyst, where he underwrote over $4 billion worth of deals across all property types (multifamily, office, retail, industrial, and hotels) and all layers of the capital stack (senior debt, subordinate debt, preferred equity and equity).

Generated several thousand unique website visits per day, which resulted in meaningful advertisement revenue. Leveraged the brand to raise capital and produce several large-scale concerts and music festivals in Central California and Colorado.
