After serving as an integral safety analyst for a brief time, I was rapidly promoted to establish and maintain the safety program, promoting a health and safety culture within the 180-person Maracay plant. I oversaw a lean 2-person team and managed a $500K annual budget. 

➟ Introduced a safety matrix where none previously existed by using Excel to track injuries and incidents.

➟ Cut $500K annually from medical exams expenses by executing a safety strategy that focused on individual requirements and local medical exams. 

➟ Prepared and maintained a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) that included more than 2K products and all the hazardous materials program/procedures.

➟ Achieved 1 year with zero recordable incidents by developing and implementing a safety program that took a proactive approach to preventing injuries.
