I help legal professionals, legal teams, and technology organizations make sense of legal technology so they can work smarter, deliver stronger outcomes, and lead with confidence in a field that is often noisy, fragmented, and misunderstood.

As General Counsel of Malbek and a long-time educator, author, and advocate, I sit at the intersection of law, technology, and learning. My work centers on translation. I take complex, fast-moving technologies and turn them into clear concepts, practical strategies, and informed decisions that legal professionals can actually use. Whether guiding teams through digital transformation or shaping how legal products are built and adopted, my focus is always on clarity over hype.

Teaching is core to how I operate. I regularly speak to diverse audiences, from military organizations to law firms and in-house legal departments, as well as large professional groups, on AI’s impact on legal work and the responsible, effective use of technology. Across these settings, my goal is the same: to help people understand not just what tools do, but how they change legal work, roles, and judgment.

That same educational mission runs through my writing and publishing. I am the author of The Legal Tech Ecosystem, a foundational guide to understanding the industry and its players, a co-author of CLM for Dummies, and the editor of the Handbook of Legal Tech. I also write regularly, serve as a columnist for Today’s General Counsel, and contribute through podcasts, webinars, and industry forums. Each platform is another way to make legal tech more accessible, grounded, and actionable.

Across every role, my aim is to equip people with the knowledge and confidence to engage with innovation thoughtfully and critically. I am passionate about building meaningful connections and advancing efforts that empower communities through education, innovation, and opportunity.
 
A lawyer, emerging technology thought leader and global author, I co-authored 'Legal Operations in the Age of AI and Data,' My chapter explores the intersection of legal operations, workplace initiatives, and data analytics. 

As Chief Impact and Community Engagement Officer for ReGen Valley Tech Hub, led by the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute, our aim is to make New Hampshire a global leader in the biofabrication industry.

I serve on several boards, including the NextGen Valley Resiliency Council. I am actively engaged in the Build Back Better Regional Challenge coalition, which secured a $44 million grant in 2022 to drive opportunities for all in the biomedical manufacturing industry.

Recognized for my contributions, I’ve been honored with awards such as NH Business Review Outstanding Women in Business 2023, NH Tech Alliance Tech Professional of the Year 2023, and as an ABA Women of Legal Tech 2023 honoree. In 2024, I was named to the New Hampshire 200 list, celebrating leaders shaping the state’s economy and innovation. I am also a TEDx speaker.
