You've got a voice agent with hundreds of knowledge base documents. 

Your content team updates them constantly. 

But every change means manually uploading files, 

Clicking through the UI, managing documents one at a time.

That doesn't scale nor is it efficient. 

What if those documents could sync automatically? What if your agent's knowledge base stayed current without any manual intervention?

This is exactly what I built and just documented in a new video. 

The solution combines the ElevenLabs API with n8n to watch a Google Drive folder, detect file changes, and automatically update your voice agent's knowledge base in real time.

Here's how it works:
- Google Drive folder triggers → file changes detected
- New documents get uploaded to 11 Labs knowledge store
- Updated documents delete the old version and upload the new one
- Agent configuration patches automatically to include everything
- Content team edits docs once, agents stay current forever

You can run the workflow as frequent as makes sense for the use case. 

The API documentation makes this possible, but it requires understanding the full flow: 

fetch agent config → extract existing documents → upload new ones → patch the entire agent with the updated array.

Once this is running, you stop living in the UI and start thinking about your knowledge base as a system. Your content lives in one place (Google Drive, Notion, DB, whatever), and your agents pull from it automatically.

This is the difference between building pilots and building products at scale.
