My responsibilities included end to end closing, self-sourcing meetings/BDR generated and running the introductory call.

The essence was understanding the pain points of tech marketers, their marketing strategy, content syndication campaigns and how I can solve their problems. Next steps included creating customized proposals, follow up on proposal, overcoming objections, negotiations, sharing competitive pricing and sending the IO.

As I had recently been promoted in late Q3, I had generated $24k in Q3, +$50k in Q4 and $117k net new revenue in Q1.

My mission was to generate revenue based on setting quality meetings for my VP sales/ Account Executives which would set the base for my next role.

I was able to bring in 6 net new logos and 4 renewals. These net-new meetings booked $125k as revenue (without considering any renewal revenue).

I got promoted to a Growth Account Executive during the pandemic era. It was time to start selling, the whole end-end process. 
Great opportunity because it helped me take my knowledge and experience to the next level. 

As a Growth Account Executive, these were my responsibilities:

•	 Working on/identifying key accounts across Growth, Mid-market and Enterprise across the US.
•	 Self-sourcing qualified meetings via phone, email and LinkedIn. Eventually started getting meetings set by BDRs as well. 
•	 Meeting with marketing/demand gen/paid media decision makers and understanding their marketing goals, KPIs and other initiatives.
• 	Introductory call with a brief overview of the company and our performance marketing solutions.
•	 Understanding the pain areas of clients, suggesting and tailoring a performance marketing solution that will help them meet/exceed their KPIs. 
•	 Creating customized proposals, OLI’s and Insertion orders based on client requirement.
•	 Overlooking campaign stats, progress and delivery through internal communications.
•	 Making sure the campaign is delivered within the said timeline.
• 	Post delivery, reconnecting with client for campaign feedback and renewal.
•	 Met quarterly target of $100K + in terms of booked revenue.

Growth Account Executive

The real sales role began from here. It was a great start to many opportunities as I could learn more about lead generation, the processes behind it and how it helps marketers. 

•	 My role was to generate meetings (quantity and quality) for my VP sales and few Account Executives in the US. 
• 	Channels used were email, cold call and LinkedIn. Each had it’s fair share in success.  
•	 Within the first 6 months I was able to source meetings that closed revenue.
•	 My target was 24 qualified meetings a quarter. I overachieved this post 6 months and this bumped to 25-35 meetings.
• 	I hit a maximum of 21 meetings in Oct 2020 leading to 47 qualified meetings in OND.  
•	 The meetings in OND generated +$250k  revenue.
