6 ways AI made me more productive as a PM at Google in the last 30 days:
1. Built Q&A Meeting Vaults: I converted every meeting transcript into a searchable Q&A format. Instead of digging through pages of notes, I was able to pinpoint the "why" behind every decision in seconds.

2. Drafted Conversational PRDs: I talked through product requirements out loud and let AI draft the initial documents. This allowed me to stay focused on the high-level strategy while the AI handled the heavy lifting of the structure.

3. Generated Instant Visuals: I created custom flow diagrams and slide imagery in seconds. This kept my stakeholders perfectly aligned and eliminated the usual back-and-forth of design iterations.

4. Mastered the "Podcast" Research Method: I uploaded project docs into NotebookLM and listened to a generated "deep dive" podcast. Hearing my own strategy discussed by others gave me a fresh perspective I never would have found on my own.

5. Solved 100k Row Data Puzzles: I used exploratory data analysis to find signals in massive spreadsheets. I turned 100,000 rows of raw data into a concise, one-page executive insight that drove immediate action.

6. Developed Rapid Prototypes: I used AI Studio to build a functional mock web app. Instead of just talking about a new UX flow, I showed it to my team in real-time, making the vision undeniable.

As AI’s computing power scales, our Emotional Intelligence (EI) becomes the ultimate differentiator. The machine handles the "doing," so I can focus on the "being"—connecting, empathizing, and collaborating.

Data strategist by day, growth guide by weekend

AI was my brush; the strategy was the art. Last week, I received a file from a 3rd party data source that was a total "black box." It contained nearly a million rows of ship-to addresses.

In the "old world," analyzing this would have been a multi-day saga of SQL queries, crashing spreadsheets, and endless back-and-forth emails to define what we were even looking at.

Instead, I used Gemini to "interrogate" the data. Here was my process:
1️⃣ The Handshake: Uploaded the 60MB CSV and explained the context of every column.

2️⃣ The Pattern Hunt: Identified 5 recurring formatting errors that were masking massive amounts of duplicates.

3️⃣ The Visualization: Switched to Canvas mode to build an interactive dashboard with filters and "big number" tiles.

4️⃣ The Reality Check: Discovered that 950,000 rows were actually just 132,000 unique records.

By the time I walked into the engineering sync, I wasn't just bringing a status update—I was bringing clarity. We agreed on the scope and timeline in one sitting.

As the saying goes: "AI won't replace humans, but humans who use AI will replace those who don't."

The classic trap of the mind is that it creates a problem and then immediately denies any involvement. Dr. David Bohm, the legendary physicist, captured this perfectly: “Thought creates our world, and then says, ‘I didn't do it.’”

We often treat our thoughts as objective truth—a clear window into reality. But Bohm argued that thought is actually a system. It filters, shapes, and colors our perception before we even realize it’s happening.

Most of our "problems" at work or in life aren't external events; they are the result of this system running on autopilot. We react to a situation, and when it goes sideways, we point outward. We forget that our own mental models were the architects of that friction.

The shift: Developing what Bohm called "Proprioception of Thought."

Just as your body knows where your limbs are without you looking at them, we can train ourselves to "feel" our thoughts as they happen. 

When you stop being a victim of your thoughts and start observing them as a process, the "problems" often begin to dissolve.

Next time you're frustrated, ask: Is this a reality I’m observing, or a world my thought just created?

Ever feel like your emotions are heavy, solid objects you have to "carry"?
Physicist Dr. David Bohm often spoke about how we mistake our thoughts for independent reality. I like to call this phenomenon the "Feeling Rainbow."

When you see a rainbow, it looks like a physical thing. But if you walk toward it, you realize it’s not there. It is a process—the result of light hitting raindrops at a specific angle.

Our feelings work the same way. 

Without the light of your thoughts, the "feeling rainbow" has no medium through which to exist.

When you stop trying to "catch" or fight the feeling and instead observe the thinking process creating it, the illusion loses its grip.
