David Bowie used art to make sense of an inner world that didn’t always feel simple or quiet. Through characters and reinvention, he showed that you can create distance from overwhelming thoughts without denying them.

That idea sits at the heart of what we try to do at Juniper Collective. We believe art can be a way to hold complexity, share what’s hard to name, and feel less alone in it.

Bowie’s work reminds us that you’re allowed to be complicated… and that community matters when you’re learning how to live with your inner life.

AI can transform care, but only when it’s grounded in clinical reality. It was great to join the Healthnix dinner in Austin for a candid talk on what it actually takes to scale with integrity.

To me, one of the major business risks to a new venture in AI is the relative lack of friction offered by partial solutions. It’s easy to gain initial traction with something "light," but the real challenge is maintaining an advantage against those shortcuts. I look forward to learning how Maja Mazur, CEO of Healthnix and Benjamin Woosley of Civilization Fund are navigating that and building for the long term.
