I’m an INFJ, known for being visionary, strategic, and deeply intuitive - the same as Nelson Mandela, which probably explains why I value insight, integrity, and meaningful impact over surface-level success.

I’ve worked with CMOs, founders, billionaires, artists, investors, and creatives. I’ve shaped global brand strategies, negotiated high-impact partnerships, and launched campaigns that drive real-world impact.

• Responsible for satisfying the FCA and UKLA’s obligations in the £4billion RBS Rights Issue Group Shareholder Litigation

• Managed a team of paralegals on a complex disclosure exercise, with a focus on identifying and redacting legal and litigation privilege, third party sourced and single market information  

• Supported Andrew Green QC of Blackstone Chambers in his review of the ‘Maxwellisation’ process, as commissioned by the Treasury Select Committee

• Assisted the Serious Fraud Office on an investigation into financial transactions between a major high street bank and Middle Eastern parties

• Engaged formally with each of the parties’ respective legal counsel to the RBS Rights Issue Litigation, whether via electronic correspondence or in person, representing the FCA’s interests

• Accountable for preparing court bundles for Judicial Review cases and other litigious matters. This is often investigative in nature, requiring the collation of information across FCA departments, in addition to liaising with other public bodies (eg: FOS)

• Contributed to the legal knowledge platform offering explanatory advice on the law of restitution, and litigation privilege in respect of investigations prescribed by FSMA

• Researched the economic and structural impact of indigenous communities (First Nations and Aboriginals) on mining corporations in Canada and Australia

• Attended a seminar on the amendments to the regulatory water and waste management framework and their effect on residue stockpiles and tailings deposits

• Assisted a high-ranking defence attorney on a case relating to the criminal litigation of directors for their purported involvement in environmental breaches whilst conducting mining operations

• Assisted in the redrafting of a ZAR450million Sale of Assets Agreement ahead of participating in contract negotiations

• Researched the Minerals and Petroleum Resources Development Act (MPRDA) and consulted outside counsel in order to explore the various mechanisms in transferring a mining right

• Reviewed the provisions of an Off-Take contract and developed a strategy to best withdraw from its contractual obligations in the event of a sale. I was tasked with determining whether reliance on a force majeure clause would sustain any scrutiny in court or if such reliance would in effect be a repudiation of the contract leaving the seller liable for damages

• Analysed a preliminary Due-Diligence Report in respect of a Target Company situated in Zimbabwe, compiling a schedule of outstanding legal documents

• Drafted a notice of intention to terminate a contract pursuant to the contractual provisions therein

• Attended a Director’s Board Meeting as an Invitee for a Zimbabwean company observing the passing of resolutions and discussions on the economic and legislative environment in Zimbabwe

In-House Mining Paralegal (International)

• Work within the Investments, Insurance and Redress department of the General Counsel’s Division

• Tasked with developing a platform for accessing General Counsel and Enforcement know-how

• Assisted in the production of legal know-how on the new consumer credit regime, the development of peer-to-peer (crowdfunding) regulation, CCA/FSMA hybridity and regulated activity permissions

• Supported the Advisory Counsel by researching the impact of a recent ECJ ruling on ‘the right to be forgotten’ and its applicability to a former authorised person seeking removal from the Financial Services Register. My findings were presented to the individual concerned thereby concluding the matter

• Attending an Insolvency training course at the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA). The training seminars focus on international corporate insolvency from the perspective of financial service regulators and their roles in the insolvency process

• Worked alongside a Senior Partner in the Corporate department on a client matter involving the issuance of mini-bonds and the subsequent legal implications of utilising funds in an alternative manner to methods proposed in the Bond Invitation Document 

• Attended a client meeting with regard to executing a mini-bond issue to raise capital for the expansion of the client's business which required research of the client’s website and business plan to determine the suitability of proceeding with this fund-raising mechanism

• Analysed the applicability of utilising a tailored crowdfunding website to raise money through a mini-bond issue for a client and researched the regulatory requirements imposed by the FCA
