LHV's IT department today has more than 200 employees. My job involves supporting hiring managers of our IT department with recruitment of new IT-professionals for their teams. Roles I've been able to cover so far include:

Part of my job is also participating as a representative in different conferences and supporting IT-department in organizing various events and strategy days.

1. Empathy: I have a natural ability to understand and feel the emotions of others and the vibe in the room / team. This helps me to build strong relationships with candidates and colleagues and enable me to connect with them on a deeper level.

2. Intellection: I have a strong passion for learning and a deep appreciation for intellectual discussions, I especially shine with this in one-on-one conversations. This strength enables me to ask thoughtful questions, understand complex problems, and come up with innovative solutions.

3. Achiever: I have a strong desire to accomplish my goals and to do so at a high level. This helps me to stay focused, motivated, and driven to succeed in my work. You can always count on me.

4. Connectedness: I have a sense of the interconnectedness of things and a belief that everything happens for a reason (yes :)). This helps me to see the bigger picture, understand how different parts of a project fit together, and foster a sense of unity and collaboration. This also makes me really good at handling difficult situations and leading people out of those.

This helps me to identify candidates with strong potential, coach them to success, and build high-performing teams.

Overall, my strengths in relationship building, intellectual curiosity, achievement, and collaboration, among others, make me well-suited for a role in recruitment and HR in general, where building strong connections with both internal teams and candidates is essential. My positive outlook and sense of responsibility also make me a valuable team player who can be counted on to deliver results.

Outside of work, I've found my passion in giving back to my community through volunteering. On a weekly basis I help a 90+ year old lady who lives alone, providing companionship and assistance with tasks around the house.
