I oversaw US marketing/growth, user acquisition and CRM through digital and traditional channels. Including being one of the first/largest advertisers on Facebook's native ads platform (brand new at the time). Acquired millions of new users/month, tracking performance, executing & reporting against key KPI’s, and identifying channels that brought in higher LTV customers.

Helped plan our international launch. Oversaw all creative for advertising, marketing campaigns, and the textPlus brand.

Lead our ad sales platform, securing $millions in ad revenue from some of the world's largest brands.

Separately split out a small 6-person team to build an ultra low-cost international calling platform. Took it from concept / design / telco contracts to launch in 2.5 months.

(Acquired by TextPlus) Jarvus was an iOS app that let people capture life's moments with their friends and family. It would analyze the geo-tags and time-stamps in your iPhone's photo album, match you with Facebook friends that were in the same places at the same time, and easily create group albums using you and your friend's photos. 

You could apply beautiful filters, effects and stickers to your content, and upload/share the collective "memories" / albums on Jarvus or across your social accounts. 

Featured on Jimmy Fallon. Celebrities shared moments with their friends and fans. TextPlus tagged us in a post on Jarvus that they wanted to acquire the platform. The rest is history.

Coupeez Inc

Coupeez was an early online deals platform unlocking customer savings across local businesses.  

-Lead product design and built the iOS and Android applications (very early app-store days). This is what opened my eyes to how mobile was going to change every business in the world.
-Designed our UI & UX for web, iOS, and Android from scratch. 
-Curated categories of deals and onboarded thousands of local businesses throughout California to our marketplace.

Over the past decade, I've built three multimillion-dollar businesses while growing a family and raising four children.

I started with no resources, no connections, and didn’t have access to the playbooks that would have made the journey 10X easier. 

As a kid, I made money garden landscaping for families at church, manufacturing merchandise for private clubs, and then developing websites and running ad campaigns for local companies.

By 21, I was founding companies. In the decade since, I've:

BUT, the journey was hard (harder than it needed to be).

I’ve faced many of the things you don't think about when starting a company:

→ Fought off (and won) predatory lawsuits
→ Closed a Seed round days after my wedding
→ Negotiated with demanding government agencies
→ Worked with lobbyists to introduce or change legislation
→ Raised a Series A while in the hospital for my first son's birth
→ Navigated a failed multi-million dollar merger while my daughter was born
→ Survived near-extinction events where we had single-digit weeks or days to save the company

Interesting times and lots of learning! We all went into lockdown 10 weeks into role. Every HR and C-suite team was suddenly trying to figure out how to WFH, manage lay-offs remotely, introduce mental health programs, and operate compassionately seemingly overnight. Armed with LinkedIn’s data on talent trends and skill development, I got to partner with 45 organisations to help figure out how they would execute their strategy to Workforce plan, Hire/re-hire and Develop the people that were going to move their business forward thru Covid. Priorities changed frequently and everybody was learning on-the-go (including LinkedIn). What a ride!

Cycle Syncing Advocate + Menstrual Health Practitioner + Fertility Awareness Educator

I am massively passionate about helping women become educated about their menstrual cycles. It boggles my mind that as a woman in her 30s, there are SO many things I am only now learning about. Things that should have been taught to us in school and areas that should have been addressed in the medical field years ago. 

In 2019, I started cycle syncing and immediately reaped the benefits of working in alignment with my menstrual cycle: my productivity and results went up and stress went down, and it made me wonder why no one had ever talked about working in sync with your cycle before.

It felt like I had unlocked a secret code to hacking life, when in reality, all I had done was identify the signs in my body and scheduled my tasks accordingly. Learning about my cycle changed my life so much that I left my job in tech and spent the next few years learning everything I could - becoming certified as a Fertility Awareness Educator and FAMM Practitioner. 

Today, I teach companies the benefits of incorporating cycle syncing in the workplace and work 1-1 with women to equip them with the knowledge to: confidently come off hormonal birth control, address underlying symptoms and actually enjoy their periods. 

The biggest joy comes from catching the moment the information clicks in a client when they learn how their body and cycle work, and understand why living in alignment with their hormones is the ultimate key to self-care and success. 

Having lived in London, Munich, San Francisco and Sydney, I bring a global perspective and know that all women everywhere deserve to learn this basic body literacy so they can thrive.

What drives me is being surrounded by positive energy, grit and dreaming big! I'm unsettled by complacency and thrive when I'm learning and growing in new ways.
