I joined Eventbrite as one of the original members of the Eventbrite Ads team. EB Ads allows event creators to advertiser their events natively across Eventbrite surfaces.

A few things I'm proud of in my time with EB:
• A part of the team which brought Ads from 0 code to a launched product serving thousands of customers in under 3 months
• Saw the product grow to 10's of thousands of advertisers and many millions in revenue
• Led frontend development for all creator facing Ads surfaces
• Built and managed several core pieces of our primary services (eligibility, ads creation flow + more)
• Rearchitected and rebuilt our entire billing process from the ground up, cutting fraudulent spend to 1/4th of previous numbers, dramatically increasing stability and reliability, and ensure 0 possibilities for overspend.
• Helped to conceptualize and bring to life many of Ads core features, such as multi-market location targeting.
• Sat on interview panels for engineers from junior to principal, engineering managers
• Helped to up-level many junior and mid level engineers
• Gave talks in our Architecture and Frontend guilds
• Contributed components to marmalade, our internal design system, as well as helped to set standards for how it should be built

And most importantly:
• Made a lot of great fiends and built a really awesome product (cliche, but true)

I worked on the bidding & attribution team creating ad tech tools. Some of the projects that I worked on include:

• A suite of tools used by marketing analysts to drive efficiency in hundreds of millions of dollars in ad spend. Tech used: React, Java, Dropwizard, Python, Vertica, Hive, MSSQL, Presto.

• "Forge" framework for designing jobs which pipe billions of rows of data daily. Tech used: Python, Aerospike, Spark, Hive.

• Custom data analytics UIs allowing analysts to track ad campaign performance over time. Tech used: React, PrestoDB, Vertica, Java, Dropwizard.

• "Generic CSV Uploader" Java API, cutting development time of new CSV upload utilities down from a week to day. Tech used: Java, Dropwizard.

Freelancer- Self employed

Planned and built a custom project management solution for a large construction company. The web app saves the company 80+ hours per week (hundreds of thousands per year in dollars saved) and dramatically simplifies a core function of the business.

Engineered, mixed, mastered, and released over 100 songs both for myself and for others. Generated 10's of millions of plays across streaming platforms.
