MANUP? is a Men's Mental Health Charity that was founded in 2019 and formally became a Charity in July 2021. Its purpose is to de-stigmatize men's mental health and this is done via podcasts, videos, events, and more.

This is a role that I fully enjoyed I developed my skills working within a large team whilst also having the ability to lead in a management role. I was quickly promoted, having started as an assistant manager, within a few weeks I had shown my ability in this role and was responsible for managing a store where I increased the gross profit from 10k per week to over 35k in a short amount of time, this stayed consistent for well over 3 months. My success in this role led to me managing multiple stores in the region.

•	Maintaining 3 to 5 stores which regularly included Chelmsford, Ipswich, Witham and Subury 
•	Maintaining cash flows by accounting for tills, safes, and ordering stock and monitoring staff levels.
•	Working with extremely tight staffing budgets to keep all stores open from 8am to 8pm.
•	Training staff on all levels from cleaners, security and cashiers.

A bit about me: 

I am a highly experienced, qualified and passionate registered psychologist (kaimātai hauora hinengaro), with over 25 years of experience working across multiple mental health, educational, and organisational settings in both the United Kingdom and Aotearoa, New Zealand. With a Doctorate in Child, Educational and Community Psychology from the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, and an undergraduate degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of Sussex, my focus over the past 13 years has been on engaging with schools and local government agencies through consultation, training and facilitation to promote better well-being outcomes for students, families and the whole school community.
