Proxiad Bulgaria

As Business Operations Director at Proxiad Bulgaria, I played a key strategic role in managing all business operations for the Bulgarian subsidiary of the Proxiad Group. This included overseeing a dedicated team of professionals and participating in the development and implementation of the company's business, HR, technical, and administrative strategies. 

Working closely with the Technical and HR Directors, I developed and improved the company's services and business models, and managed budget planning and P&L. 

Additionally, I proactively led a joint company-client planning process that established mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones. 

Through my efforts, Proxiad Bulgaria was able to streamline its operations and improve its overall performance, leading to increased revenue and customer satisfaction.

Director Of Business Operations and Business Development

During my time at Proxiad Bulgaria, I had the opportunity to take on the role of Head of Recruitment Business Partners, in addition to my existing role as Business Operations Director. As Head of Recruitment Business Partners, I was responsible for managing the recruitment process for the company, including overseeing the recruitment team and collaborating with other departments to ensure that staffing needs were met. I replaced a colleague who was on maternity leave, and I was able to quickly transition into the role, thanks to my experience and expertise in business operations.

In my dual role as Business Operations Director and Head of Recruitment Business Partners, I was able to apply my skills in strategic planning, budgeting, and project management to the recruitment process. I worked closely with the HR Director and other stakeholders to identify staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and ensure that recruitment efforts were aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives. Through my efforts, I was able to help the company attract and retain top talent, while also contributing to the overall success and growth of Proxiad Bulgaria.

As a Senior Account Manager at Proxiad Bulgaria, I played a critical role in maintaining and developing strong relationships with key client accounts. 

I was dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying any issues or opportunities and establishing priorities, while also developing appropriate action plans to achieve client objectives. 

I was responsible for facilitating cross-organisational sales opportunities by identifying and understanding client needs and providing assistance with sales demos and pre-sales client visits. 

In addition to account management, I was involved in business development, which involved identifying new opportunities and building partnerships with potential clients. 

Through my efforts, I helped to increase revenue and build a strong reputation for Proxiad Bulgaria as a trusted provider of software development services.

Over the last 10 years, I have helped many companies build and grow their tech products using software development services. Even though most of these projects were very successful, I observed many inefficiencies in these partnerships.

One particular case was a huge disaster. That same company became a unicorn several years later. Partnering with them failed not because they didn't need a partner, but because we weren't the right partner for them.

This experience transformed my understanding of providing software development services. It's not just about execution—it's about customer success and a relentless focus on quality.

I wanted to change the status quo and make using a tech partner a success, not a pain. So, I started my own company, specializing in bridging this gap, mainly for entrepreneurs and startups.
