I keep hearing from clients that analysts aren't giving them the deep insight they're paying for.

Why would they?

Think about the incentive structure for a second.

An analyst at a major research firm is covering an entire market segment. 

They're tracking dozens (sometimes hundreds) of vendors. 

They're fielding inquiry calls. 

Writing research notes. 

Updating frameworks. 

Preparing for conferences.

They don't have time to go DEEP on your buyer dynamics.

So what happens instead?

In 2023, I did something I'd not done on any previous Rally North America #charity rally.

I rented a car and took it on the event.

This is fine, really, as many teams over the years have done this.  Fortunately, I lucked into a nice Audi A5 coupe.

But as I rolled into Bristol Motor Speedway and Dragway with the thing, I had the briefest pang of concern that I'd be taking someone else's car on the high banks of this half-mile NASCAR oval.

I did say *briefest*.  It sure didn't stop me.

Next July, we'll be joining about 70 teams in Athens, OH for the Rally North America Ohio Valley 1200 benefiting Hope For The Warriors®.  Chances are good that I'll be renting a car for that event, too, and we're looking forward to time on Gingerman Raceway in Kalamazoo, MI.
