Hi! I’m Daniel. I’m the creator of The Marketing Millennials and the founder of Authority, a B2B LinkedIn growth agency that creates and distributes content to turn attention into authority for your business.

 
I’m a former D1 athlete. GO BEARCATS. I live in the Miami, FL with my badass wife, Ari, who is arguably a way better marketer than I am. You can say we are a marketing power couple. 

I’ve spent most of my marketing career focused on Marketing Operations (at companies like SnackNation, Oracle, ChowNow, ServiceTitan, and Clearbit). BUT, I have a love for all types of marketing because to be great at Marketing Ops - you need to be well versed in all of marketing. I started The Marketing Millennials as a way to meet other marketers - and I can officially say mission accomplished.

As a lead web developer, my responsibilities include directing the IT & marketing team in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications. I also coordinate the development staff’s schedule and ensure effective communication between team members and other IT functional areas. 

Some of my main responsibilities also include:
 - Working closely with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and help translate these into technical requirements for the development team
 - Planning and documenting technical specifications for features or system design
 - Designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements
 - Directing the development team in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications
 - Writing testable, scalable, and efficient code and leading code reviews
 - Mentoring junior team members and ensuring they adhere to determining software quality standards

Lead Web Developer

Stack Sports

Senior developer for youth sports media company; responsible for maintaining editorial website of 3.5 million unique visitors per month. Entrusted with architecting new systems as needed, including custom digital products and sales funnels serving several thousand consumers from inception.

•	Architected eCommerce and Digital Fulfillment systems grossing $200,000 over 18 months
•	Modernized website infrastructure to improve page speed, scalability, and bandwidth costs
•	Converted static page designs to use mobile-friendly responsive frameworks
•	Implemented SEO best practices including Schema.org, Google AMP, XML Sitemaps

Senior Web Developer

VMV MANAGEMENT, INC

Senior leadership for e-Commerce firm specializing in cloud-based web hosting; serving as lead developer responsible for architecting web systems, including sales processes and automated fulfillment of digital goods. Company averages $25 million annual domestic and international online sales.

•	Leadership role in Agile teams of 2 to 8 frontend and backend developers
•	Architected new projects and modernized legacy procedural PHP with OOP and modular patterns
•	Interpreted business requirements into actionable tasks for development team
•	Created relational database schemas and optimized queries for speed and data integrity

Web Developer

Farm and Dairy newspaper

Developer in two-person team for 100-year old commercial print shop and agricultural newspaper (“Farm and Dairy”). Responsible for creating web presence, including online news articles, subscription system, classified placement, and more. Newspaper averaged 30,000 physical subscriptions and 40,000 monthly web visitors. 

•	Created new revenue stream with e-Commerce systems amounting to $15,000 per month
•	Imported tens of thousands of catalogued articles into MySQL databases and formatted for web
•	Planned and developed new ad-supported web service company (“gimmeauctions.com”)
•	Automated newspaper production processes for Editorial and Classified departments

It was the fall of 1993 and the height of technology at the time was a AA-powered toy that could warp your voice and record cassette tapes. Or so I thought, until I had to research a project for class and my Dewey Decimal skills failed to locate any helpful books. It was then that a merciful librarian saw my plight and opened my eyes to a whole new world: Microsoft Encarta Encylcopedia and AOL.com on the school's freshly-delivered new computer. That was the day that my passion for technology was born.

Fast-forward through an insane explosion of tech to today's era of smart homes and self-driving cars, and I'm proud to have harnessed that same passion in helping several small businesses grow and compete in an ever-changing landscape. Not just through automation, but by helping these businesses reach new audiences and verticals online, build their eCommerce presences, streamline their tech stacks, and deploy IT solutions that keep their users both secure and efficient.

It is this shared appreciation for both tech and helping small businesses that has made Fully Accountable the perfect partner in my career. Since 2017, we've worked to empower our accounting staff with the proprietary tools and solutions they need to help hundreds of eCommerce clients increase their profit margins, gain new insights into their financial data, and remove the stress of running their back office. FA has brought together a hodgepodge of people and ideals, but we are all united in a shared embrace of innovation when it means serving our clients better or more efficiently - and I can think of no greater place for putting a passion in technology to use in supporting small businesses.
