When I landed my first RevOps role, it was like coming home!!

I have been involved in sales my whole life, from selling newspaper subscriptions, to retail & restaurants... I eventually landed my first professional sales role in SaaS. 

While I loved direct selling, I always gravitated to the science of sales. I loved to listen to my peers and mentors on the phone, I'd spend endless hours perfecting my PowerPoint presentations, I'd follow around the marketing team trying to understand how people were responding to our messaging, and I'd snoop around our CRM trying to figure out how the top sellers managed their pipelines. 

Eventually, my CEO & Mentor identified that my skills could be put to use in Sales Operations… and I was hooked. Since then, I've been lucky to work and learn from some of the best C-Suite teams in the business, experience operations at the largest SaaS operator in the world (AWS), and most recently, launch my own RevOps SaaS Startup aimed at helping others analyze and manage their SaaS metrics.

Relay Financial

Relay is a fintech with an online banking and money management platform. At Relay I worked closely with the Sales, Marketing, & Data Insights teams. On a weekly basis, I managed the sales & marketing slide decks to review performance against targets. I optimized the commission process for the BDR & AE team.  To provide pipeline visibility for the AE sales pipeline, I restructured the current object/process for tracking this in the company's CRM (Hubspot).  To increase the data integrity of the CRM & enhance the user experience, I worked with the Data Insight team to integrate the company's data warehouse with the CRM via Hightouch. I worked alongside the BDR manager to implement Zoominfo & develop a process that will allow cold leads to be nurtured before being routed to the BDR reps. For advanced reporting in excel, I integrated Hubspot to excel via Coefficient & Metabase to excel via Hightouch. I worked very closely with my direct report to define our sprint tasks & supported him on projects/his journey in Revenue Operations.

Unbound Security enables enterprises to manage their entire cryptographic keys and infrastructure. At Unbound Security, I owned the administration, implementation and evolution of the marketing, sales and customer success tech stack. I worked cross-functionally with customer success, sales, business operations, finance, product, marketing, and other stakeholders to share insights and centralize information. I managed reports/dashboards and built revenue forecasts so teams can easily understand business health and meet goals. I partnered with leadership to strategize, operationalize, and analyze the impact of business initiatives. Unbound Security was acquired by Coinbase in 2021.

Bonfire Interactive is a software company that empowers procurement teams to make better purchasing decisions. At Bonfire I focused on integrating data within our CRM, Salesforce, to provide a single source of truth for the company. I worked closely with the Sales team to ensure that the sales processes are implemented in the CRM.  To ensure Marketing efforts align with Sales, I work with Marketing to optimize lead management & lead routing.  To succeed in Sales, you need access to trustworthy data, and to have such data, you need valuable tools. During my time here, I often researched modern technologies that can assist with data enrichment, lead generation, lead routing, sales productivity, customer retention, & strategic decision-making. Aside from Sales/Marketing, I worked with other teams such as Finance & Customer Success. I analyzed existing business processes across the company, determined areas of improvement, and implemented the related CRM solutions.

LMN is a SaaS company that provides landscape estimating and timesheet software. At LMN I focused on integrating data within our CRM to provide a 360-degree view of our prospects & customers. My role is similar to my prior position at Communitech Corporation, however, there was a greater emphasis on marketing automation, lead scoring, lead generation, lead conversion, sales pipeline analysis & customer churn.  During my time here, I researched modern technologies to assist with data enrichment, demand generation, sales productivity & customer retention.

Communitech Corporation is a non-for-profit organization that assists tech companies start, grow and succeed. During my time at Communitech I had the opportunity to be part of various teams including, Finance, & IT. At the company, I managed the salesforce platform for a bit over two years and was the only subject matter expert of the tool. I created and documented protocol for best practices to support the successful implementation of initiatives/processes. I further improved report generation and integration with other systems used in house. I implemented & maintained a high standard of data quality. I collaborated with various teams, such as talent & sales, to understand the business processes and gathered information necessary to advise key stakeholders on process improvement. I managed the client data base, and the import/export of data as required.
