But if your close rate is stuck at 20%, doubling traffic just doubles inefficiency.

The real leverage is yield.

- 20% close rate = wasted demand
- 40% close rate = double revenue
- same traffic, better system
- efficiency before scale

The founders who last the longest learn this.

Before they scale traffic, they improve yield.

Inputs don’t.

Most founders try to grow by adding more input.

More ads.
More leads.
More traffic.

But every business actually runs on a simple structure:

X → M → Y

X = inputs
Y = outcomes

But the real leverage sits in the middle.

The mechanism.

- offer
- positioning
- sales thesis
- sales process

If that mechanism is weak, more input only scales inefficiency.

The same traffic can produce completely different outcomes depending on the structure of the system.

One company closes 20%.
Another closes 40%.

Same input.
Different form.
