ADR England Community Catalyst Children at Risk of Poor Outcomes

Based at Swansea University, the project management of ADR England's Community Catalyst - Children at Risk of Poor Outcomes.

This project is currently establishing a broad and diverse community of researchers and analysts focused on using (or aspiring to use) de-identified administrative data, to address issues children at risk of poor outcomes face. 

Co-funded by ADR England and Foundations – What Works Centre for Children and Families, it is led by a cohort of universities with expertise in children’s social care:

Key Responsibilities:
Management of the Online Operations team in a small but very busy operations department where my responsibilities included:
•	Costing, ascertaining feasibility and devising time scales for new projects
•	Liaising with suppliers to ensure the most competitive costs and time scales within the scope of the project
•	Schedule management, including booking in new projects with internal teams (Scripting, Data Processing and Coding teams)
•	Liaising with  the other Associate Directors to ensure that bottlenecks are kept to a minimum and prioritising projects when they did occur
•	Delegation of new projects to most appropriate team member based on project and client requirements 
•	Capacity management of the team, including addressing over or under utilisation within the team
•	All HR aspects of team management, including recruitment, training, mentoring, performance evaluation
•	Assuming lead project manager for the higher profile clients and for the largest / most complex projects, for both healthcare and consumer 
•	Ensuring the team met the quality standards for the company’s ISO accreditation

Key Responsibilities:
The management of a high number of projects in a fast paced and time pressured environment where my responsibilities included:
•	Supporting with the preparation of pitch presentations and attending pitches
•	Development of new client relationships to drive new business opportunities
•	Maintaining existing client relationships to high level of satisfaction
•	Account management and key client contact for 4 key accounts, including:
o	Supporting the Account Director with costings and proposals 
o	Liaising with clients on all aspects of the project
o	Heading-up large / more complex projects with support from junior team members
o	Delegation of smaller / less complex projects to team members while maintaining accountability and ensuring the highest standards were maintained
o	Reviewing, advising and editing questionnaires to make them online friendly
o	Briefing various departments / suppliers to the scope and timings of projects to ensure deadlines were kept and all deliverables were to the highest standard
o	Giving the final sign off of: survey links, data, coding, tables and any other deliverables for the client
o	Reviewing a project’s success through a range of metrics including, budget, timings, sample performance and client satisfaction scores
o	Maintaining a client satisfaction score of 8 or above for all projects on key accounts
•	Supporting the team head with recruitment, reviewing of CVs and the interviewing process
•	Training and development of new starters within Client Operations, including feedback on performance to their line manager
•	Representing MarCorp in feedback / development meetings between Client Operations and Research Technology
