The construction sector is evolving rapidly. From attracting the right talent to developing future-ready skills systems, I work to empower individuals and businesses to thrive in this dynamic landscape.

Community building: I’ve led initiatives that bring people together, from grassroots efforts to national campaigns, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued.
Neurodiversity advocacy: Through training and education programs, I help organisations better understand and support neurodivergent individuals, creating workplaces that are not just accommodating but empowering.
Leadership and results: As a leader in engagement, I’ve guided teams to deliver tangible outcomes, from fostering employer networks to supporting workforce development projects.
Mental health advocacy: As a trustee with Mates in Mind, I’m committed to improving mental health awareness and support across the construction sector.

✨ Exactly one week ago, I had the privilege of attending the #CNWorkforce Awards as a guest of Gallaway Construction, alongside one of the most inspirational women I know, Renee Preston.

💪 What a year it has been for both Gallaway and Renee. Their dedication, investment, long hours, and unwavering commitment to creating opportunities for future construction professionals have made a real, lasting impact and it’s fantastic to see this being recognised.

🏆 On the night, they added two more award wins and a Highly Commended to their growing list of achievements, bringing their total to an incredible 12 awards this year. An outstanding accomplishment for an SME that continues to drive meaningful change.

🤝 #Gallaway have clearly found a recipe for success, but scaling their impact now relies on industry collaboration. To truly tackle the skills shortage, the #NEET crisis, and the lack of grassroots pathways for 16+, we need to come together as an industry to support initiatives that are already making a difference.
