- Led transformation from a low-performing Scrum team to a highly collaborative, performing team using Kanban.

GDF Engineer

Worked as a design engineer as part of the High Integrity Pressure Vessels team within the Nuclear Marine sector. Assisted in the design of a number of components, writing technical reports, working on the design and manufacture of the pressure vessel following ASME codes III and VIII. Techniques used included Design for Assembly/Manufacture, TRIZ and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis. SC Security Clearance attained.

Over my time in the Engineering sector, I have witnessed many examples of both good and bad leadership. I'm a freelance presenter and producer for BBC Radio WM, Leicester and Derby. 

I present a range of shows most weeks, the majority of which are speech-heavy. I was recently entrusted with hosting shows following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

I previously held a permanent role at the BBC as a Broadcast Journalist in the West Midlands. As part of this role, I was the breakfast newsreader for BBC Radio WM and also reported on stories for radio and TV.

During my time as a journalist at the BBC I discovered a woman who lost over £112,000 in a dating scam. I reported on this for radio networks across the BBC, created a TV package which led BBC Midlands Today’s evening news bulletin and the story also became the most read article on the BBC News website. My story was subsequently featured in various newspapers and on TV shows around the world.

I was also the Mental Health Lead for the team at BBC Radio WM.
