I wasn’t supposed to be here.

Five and a half years ago, my life was going the other way...

I was: 

🔹Drinking every day
🔹Running from myself

And one night alcohol took my right eye in a freak accident

That was my wake-up call.

I had two choices: 

1. Keep spiraling downwards (and potentially die) 
2. Rebuild myself

I chose to rebuild.

I got sober. 

Which forced me to face the sides of myself I’d been running from. 

And in the process, I discovered something most people never realize...

Your identity shapes your whole reality. 

Who you believe you are determines what you're capable of creating. 

That lesson became the foundation of everything I do now.

When I started my consulting business...

I was in college studying audio engineering.

Just a normal guy who had to figure it out from scratch.

Since then... 

I built my consulting business to six figures organically on LinkedIn.

And I've watched my clients break through the same walls I had broken through in my own life.

Today, my mission is simple:

To help established leaders and creatives get to $20K/m by doing the inner work combined with the business work.

Because I know what it feels like to lose everything.

And I also know what it takes to build yourself back stronger.

One of my clients has a hard to deal with client of her own.

Here’s how we handled it…

She told me on a call that one of her clients keeps responding to her messages later than agreed upon and also pays her invoices late every month. 

So 2 weeks ago, I got her to send her client an email.

I won’t tell you what the email said exactly.

But let’s just say it demanded respect from her client in a polite way.

(Most solopreneurs are afraid to do this because they fear they’ll lose the client)

Here’s what happened next…

Her client apologized, signed up to an automated subscription (no more late invoices), and agreed to respond within 24 hours as their contract stated. 

She was shocked but obviously happy.

I told her…

You have to set expectations with your clients and then hold that standard.

If not… they’ll walk all over you.

I didn’t start in the online space with authority or expertise.

Nobody did.

You build sh*t offline, keep stacking proof.

Share your wins (and losses) publicly. 

Then and only then will your credibility and status start to rise.

People will doubt and judge you, but you need to keep delusional self-belief…

Because you can’t let not having a bunch of authority yet be the reason you don’t keep building.

When you're moving towards something you've decided is important to you...

Your mind has something to focus on.

This removes distractions and gives significance and meaning to your life.

I used to be an engagement junkie on LinkedIn 2.5 years ago.

Here’s what I mean…

I thought success on LinkedIn meant likes, comments, and impressions. 

So what I did was find top performing posts, then write them out by hand on a piece of paper. 

Then I would look at the structure, flow, and rhythm, and write my own post on a different topic following it to the letter (down to the same number of words per sentence). 

It got me engagement, but never any clients. 

At first I thought I was winning because my follower count was growing…

But after almost 5 months I still didn’t land a single client. I was frustrated. 

It wasn’t until I learned about targeted content that everything shifted for me.

I started writing to build trust and authority with the people I could help only (no more broad generic posts). 

2 months later I hit my first $5K month… then a few months after that my first $10K.

All from this one shift. 

Look if you’re here to get some LinkedIn fame and some likes, more power to you. We all have different goals. 

But if you’re here to actually magnetize and land clients (and currently aren’t)… 

Maybe it’s time to switch your approach.

The number 1 reason solopreneur’s content fails:

They focus on engagement, not relevance. 

🔹Chasing viral topics/trends
🔹Writing for everyone instead of who they help
🔹Checking how many likes they got before ‘who’ actually liked it

All this creates is empty numbers with no leads. 

Here's the switch I made:

Went deep on the person I help (their fears, frustrations, desires) → Created content for them (not just teaching, but leading from experience) → Wrote as if I was speaking to them 1:1 → Saw what they resonate most with (then did more of it) → Repeat

Stop trying to go viral and write for everyone (if you want to magnetize potential clients)

Start writing for the people you want to work with. 

Most content here looks this same, this is how you stand out from everyone else.

The most powerful sales tool I own isn't a piece of software.

It’s relationships…

One of my clients followed me for 8 months before he decided to work with me.

Another one was on my email list for 3 months before she joined my program. 

The first coaching program I ever joined was from a guy I was following and consuming on YouTube for 5 months before I booked a call with him.

The point → Nurture more.

Everyone is going for a quick sale, a connect and pitch, cold outreach…

With no trust and no relationship. 

This is the wrong game. 

Instead… (I feel crazy for even saying these because it’s common sense)… get to know people. Get them to know you. Show them you care and understand them.

It’ll get you a lot more work than cold outreach, and your positioning will be 100X stronger. 

Nowadays with automation and spam rampant everywhere…

This is your competitive advantage.

“Over 1 million impressions! Can you believe it only led to 1 newsletter sign up and 0 dollars?!”

This is what the ghostwriting agency owner said to us on the writing team after a post went viral on Twitter. 

Here’s what’s shocking… this is not uncommon. Back when I was ghostwriting… 

I saw this a lot. 

Everyone aiming to get likes and impressions (the vanity metrics).

All which led to nearly no clients signed which means…

No money. 

This showed me firsthand why being respected online by your niche is FAR more important than being liked.

What if the first step to exercising more…
wasn’t exercise?

That’s what Tony Robbins talks about in this clip.

He mentions research showing that people who use the sauna regularly can reduce their risk of heart attack by about 50% and significantly lower their risk of stroke.

Powerful stuff.

But the part that really stood out to me was something else.

He said when he works with people who don’t exercise at all, he sometimes starts them with just one habit:

Using the sauna.

No workouts yet.

Just sauna.

And something interesting happens.

After a few weeks of regular sauna sessions they start feeling better.

Their energy improves.

Their body starts recovering better.

And then they start asking…

“What else can I do to feel even better?”

That’s when exercise becomes the next step.

I love this idea because so many people try to start with the hardest habit first.

Intense workouts.

Strict diets.

Massive lifestyle changes.

And it rarely sticks.

But when you start with something that makes you feel good immediately, it builds momentum.

I’ve been using saunas since I was about 14 years old, and it’s still one of my favorite recovery tools today.

Sometimes the key to building better habits isn’t pushing harder.

It’s finding the first domino that gets everything moving.

I once had a client show me his workout program.

One exercise stood out immediately: dips.

He had written:

4 sets × 10 reps.

And every set was exactly 10.

I told him something didn’t add up.

If you’re really training hard, your reps usually drop each set.

So I told him to try something different.

Instead of 4 sets of 10, I told him to just do 2 sets.

But take them close to failure and focus on squeezing the muscles.

Stay present in the movement instead of just going through the motions.

His first set?

17 reps.

The second set dropped hard after that.

And he looked at me and said…

“Wow… I’ve been doing this wrong.”

This is exactly what Arnold Schwarzenegger talks about in this video.

He said he trained next to guys who spent the same time in the gym. 

But they never got the same results.

Why?

Because they were just moving the weight.

They weren’t focused on the muscle.

They weren’t pushing close to failure.

They weren’t truly present.

The biggest mistake I see in the gym isn’t bad exercises.

It’s low intensity.

So do this if you want better results:

> Slow down.
> Feel the muscle working.
> Push your sets close to failure.

You might even get better results with fewer sets.

Most people think they need a gym to get in shape.

Wrong.

If you only had an exercise ball…

Here are the only 5 exercises you need (for max effect):

Most people spend way too much time worrying about the perfect exercise.

Should you do squats or lunges?
Machines or free weights?
Hip thrusts or RDLs?

But after 25+ years coaching CEOs, athletes, and high performers…

I can tell you the truth:

The best exercise is the one you can do consistently and progressively.

You don’t need dozens of fancy movements.

You need exercises that:

• Feel good in your joints
• Are easy to load with weight
• Allow you to progressively get stronger

That’s it.

These 5 leg exercises check those boxes.

And yes — the single-leg glute bridge isn’t a heavy strength exercise for most people.

I usually use it as a warm-up or a high-rep finisher to activate the glutes before heavier lifts.

Because the real drivers of leg growth are still:

Squats
Hip hinges
Single-leg work

Keep it simple.
Focus on getting stronger.

That’s how legs grow.

Here are 7 exercises I recommend to my clients to improve range of motion—even if you spend most of your day at a desk:

1-Dynamic Couch Stretch – Opens tight hip flexors from sitting
2-Adductor Rock – Restores hip mobility and groin flexibility
3-Thoracic Rotation – Improves upper back rotation and posture
4-Dynamic Hamstring Stretch – Helps reduce lower back strain
5-Wall Rotations – Builds shoulder mobility and control
6-World’s Greatest Stretch – A full-body mobility reset
7-Cat Stretch – Restores spinal movement after long sitting periods

You don’t need to do all seven every day.

Start with 5–10 minutes, focus on consistency, and you’ll notice your body moving—and feeling—better within weeks.

Because the real goal isn’t just to get stronger.

It’s to stay strong, mobile, and pain-free for decades.

If you’re rushing through your workouts, you’re probably leaving muscle growth on the table.

Most busy professionals rush through their workouts.

They move quickly from set to set, trying to “save time.”

But if building muscle is the goal, rushing is one of the fastest ways to sabotage your results.

Here’s what I’ve seen after 25+ years coaching entrepreneurs, executives, and high performers:

Many approach training the same way they approach work — maximize efficiency, minimize downtime.

But muscle doesn’t grow from rushing.

It grows from effective stress and proper recovery between sets.

If you don’t rest long enough, your performance drops.

And when performance drops, the stimulus for muscle growth drops with it.

But rest is only one piece of the equation.

Here are the principles that actually drive progress in the gym:

1. Train close to failure
 Muscle grows when it’s challenged. If the set feels easy, the stimulus is too low.

2. Perform enough reps
 Quality volume matters. You need enough reps to create meaningful fatigue in the muscle.

3. Progress the load
If you’re lifting the same weights you were 3 months ago, your body has no reason to adapt.

4. Train in the right rep ranges
Most hypertrophy happens between roughly 5–15 reps per set.

5. Rest between sets
Rushing reduces strength output and limits muscle growth.

6. Track your workouts
What gets measured gets improved. Guessing is not a strategy.

7. Stay consistent with your program
Strength gains early in a program are mostly neurological. Real muscle growth takes time. Stick with a program for at least 8 weeks.

8. Eat enough protein
Muscle needs raw materials to grow.

9. Do enough total sets
Most research suggests 10–20 sets per muscle group per week is a good target for hypertrophy.

10. Choose one primary goal
Trying to build maximal muscle while aggressively cutting fat rarely works well.
If you can’t see your abs yet, focus on getting lean first. Then focus on building muscle.

Simple principles.
But consistently applying them is where most people fall short.

That’s what Joe Rogan says about working out.

And I get his point.

Because the truth is…

Most people wait until they feel like going to the gym.

But if you rely on motivation, you’ll probably only train half the time you should.

Here’s what I’ve learned after 27+ years of training and coaching clients:

Consistency doesn’t come from motivation.

It comes from two things most people miss.

First: Habits

At the beginning, the gym feels like a chore.

But if you stick with it long enough, something shifts.

You start noticing:

• Your mood changes
• Your body feels tighter and weaker
• Your energy drops when you skip workouts

Eventually, it feels strange not to train.

Second: Results

This is where a lot of people get stuck.

They work hard… sweat… feel exhausted…

But their bodies don’t change.

And when you’re not getting results, motivation disappears.

But when you start seeing progress every week…getting stronger, leaner, performing better…

That’s when people get hooked.

For me right now, a big reason I train is jiu-jitsu.

Lifting helps me stay strong, prevent injuries, and perform better on the mats.

And honestly…

It’s harder for me not to train than it is to train.

But here’s the real question:

👉 Do you rely more on motivation or habit to stay consistent?
