MTO's Engineering Development Program is a rotational program where participants gain engineering experience in a variety of disciplines, contributing to enhancing Ontario’s provincial highways and infrastructures.

Project Delivery Office - January 2021 to May 2021
- Project manager for various bridge rehabilitation and reconstruction projects
- Work with external consultants and stakeholders to coordinate timely delivery of engineering assignments

Maintenance Management Office – July 2020 to December 2020
- Assessed the performance and cost effectiveness of the different service levels of highway maintenance
- Evaluated the effects of higher service levels on bare pavement regain time, salt application rates, and within storm conditions

Drainage Office – February 2020 to June 2020
- Performed hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of a structural culvert that had collapsed and
proposed replacement options that satisfied MTO’s standards
- Reviewed drainage reports for new developments to ensure MTO standards are met and there are no
adverse impacts to the watercourse or downstream riparian land owners

Traffic Office – August 2019 to January 2020
- Worked on identifying safety deficiencies for accident-prone locations, roadside hazards, and developing and recommending appropriate improvements
- Participated in ministry project teams to review ministry highway designs for appropriate operations and safety elements

- Developed tools for calculating the most suitable Performance Grade (PG) of asphalt binder
- Analyzed pavement quality and introduced amendments to specifications and led trials across the province
