I've been watching this shift closely. Mostly because my own reach dropped 60% over the last few weeks!

The algorithm stopped rewarding viral tactics and started rewarding consistent expertise.

Here's what I noticed:
My carousels that used to hit 20K impressions? Now struggling to break 5K.
My plain text posts with simple, relatable hooks? Hitting 15K+.

What's not working anymore?
Carousels with 15 slides nobody finishes. 
Engagement bait. 
Posting about everything to appeal to everyone. 
Chasing trends instead of owning your niche.

What's working now?
Plain text. Personal stories. Showing up consistently on the same 2-3 topics. 
Being clear about who you help and how.

Why?

The new algorithm is learning YOUR unique patterns. What you post about. Who engages. What topics resonate.

Even if you're in your niche, the algorithm might be relearning how to distribute your content based on format and consumption patterns.

I stayed in my lane. But I had to adapt HOW I show up in it.

Here's the truth: They won't get it until you're wildly successful. 
And even then, some still won't.

I don’t think one person in my family could explain how I make money. 🤣

Traditional employment was the safe path for 50 years. It's not anymore.

But the people who love you are wired to protect you. And protection sounds like "get a stable job."

You don't need their permission to build your business. You need their patience while you prove it works.

Stop waiting for validation from people who chose a different path.

They're measuring your success with a ruler designed for their life, not yours.

Your version of success looks different:

🌈  Pick your clients
🌈  Unlimited income ceiling
🌈  Work from anywhere

Keep building. The validation comes later. 

Usually in the form of "I wish I had done what you did."

Build the business that makes sense for YOUR life. Not theirs.

You trust the restaurant with the line out the door.

Not because the food is necessarily better. 
But because everyone else is going there.

Social proof is the ultimate marketing.

Your LinkedIn presence works the same way.

When prospects research you and see:

Consistent posting (you're active)
Meaningful engagement (people value your insights)
Clear expertise (you know your stuff)
A growing audience (others trust you)

They don't question whether you're worth hiring. They wonder if you have availability.

The "line out the door" on LinkedIn isn't followers. 
It's:

💰  Regular content that demonstrates expertise 
💰  Comments from your ideal clients 
💰  Testimonials and results in your featured section 
💰  A profile that signals demand, not desperation

You're not trying to convince anyone you're good. You're showing them other people already know it.

Build in public. Post consistently. Let your work speak.

The line forms naturally.

Your LinkedIn profile is a first date. 

And you're showing up talking about yourself for 45 minutes straight. 

Your headline: Your job title (boring) 
Your About: Your resume (they didn't ask)
