It was 2019 and I was pretty happy with myself

After 14 years of coaching over 800 clients including students, employees and 250 CEOs,  I THOUGHT I knew what I was doing... 

Then I got my "nightmare" client.  A wonderful guy named Joe who wanted to push himself to grow his business. 

Joe was a nice guy, very intelligent and wanted to take action to propel his sales.

I thought Joe would be the perfect client

I was wrong

At first everything seemed to go well. At the end of our first weekly 50 min session, it seemed that Joe had committed to a gamechanger action to transform his life.

Each week however, Joe returned having not done the action. I soon found out why.

Through a mixture of fear and distraction, Joe came up with a rationale by day 2 of each week
about why not to take the action forward

He was only brought back on track the following week by our next session

I was getting extremely frustrated and really wanted Joe to get results like my other clients

After 2 months of only minor breakthroughs, I had an idea!

"I'm going to break my rules", I told Joe

"Instead of meeting you once a week, I'm going to call you EVERY.....SINGLE....DAY....... Mon-Fri except for Bank Holidays, but, we are only going to speak for 4 minutes.... a micro coaching session"

"Sure, I'll try anything" he said

So I called him every day....

After 2 weeks.... he had taken 12X more action then ever before

I was doing backflips and was thrilled for Joe.

I started working in Sasol 2006 by the Sasol Recreation Club I worked there for 6 years had various duties there Kitchen Supervisor, ordering of stock, Monthly stock counts,Hostesses in Venus, Menu planning went on Staff rotation 2012 worked for a year assisting by the different canteen through out Sasol, Service to clients, Quality check on food, inspections monthly IMS,  I now since 2013 Manage the day to day business for the Hospitality and Recreation by the Indaba/Lapa Conference Centre  timelines, venues, coordinating bookings, ordering snacks and meals available, staffing and staff briefings for safety and toolbox talks, Manage Budget, getting Site ready for yearly audits 
Safety, Enviromental and Emergency Management is key to the site, conducting daily, weekly walk through is key to the Site, reporting any findings IMS Inspections for the equipment on site, reporting of all maintenance issues making sure the job is completed and all procedures are followed risk assessments PDA, Emergency Management responsible for the Safety on Site for all visiting clients and staff personnel having evacuation plans in place, upkeep of grounds and buildings and Good House keeping practices

We offer various packages for Conferences, team building, training and suitable for meetings, celabration's and Braai's, year end functions

I worked by Sasol Club for 6 years, then went over to other area's on rotation in the Recreational and Hospitality field, which was very interesting seeing other business units how they run on the day to day basis

In December 2012 I started working by the Indaba Lapa Conference Center
I an responsible for ensuring that the venues are fully Operational and Service levels meet the required standards, and all is in place, to meet our clients requirements and make there stay by us a memorable one

Learing new skills is a must, keep's me focused, new idea's and challenges keeps it interesting

Each day is different, keeping an opend mind willing to learn and listen
