Lead, Failure Modes analysis, product localization and new market scoping.

- Supported the divestment of BP's assets across 5 African countries worth $500m. Carried out resource planning, managed the development and subsequent monitoring of milestone plans, with 10,000+ line items, across 14 complex cross boarder workstreams.

- Identified customer and product growth opportunities and analysed Group company financials for a financial services company. Establish 5 year growth plans and a coordinated approach to customer targeting and new product development

- Developed market entry business case for a new entity in South Africa including roadmap, regulatory compliance and market analysis.

One Third Stories makes learning a language as simple as reading a story, through children's books that start in English and end in a different language, delivered as part of a monthly consumer subscription.

We built a team, published a small library of books and accompanying resources and delivered over a hundred thousand stories to children across the world, before selling the business in 2022.

On a professional level, I started my first business with my long-time friend Jonny at university in 2015. A few highlights include going from launch to £1m a year in 18 months (it was our third launch to be transparent), as well as delivering hundreds of thousands of stories to children all around the world to inspire them to learn language. We were on Dragons’ Den as well in case you want to watch an embarrassing video of much younger versions of us!

On a personal level, I was raised in the words of Dusty Springfield a "son of a preacher man" in Latin America. I grew up bilingual Spanish and English, moved to the UK in 2008, but also lived in Italy, Denmark and Brazil. I’ve sunk hundreds of hours into learning chess openings and I probably listen to about 15-20 podcasts a week.
