I’ve worked with tens of thousands of professionals on their careers—whether as a hiring manager, senior executive, founder, or now through Teal, where we’ve helped over 3 million people grow their careers with confidence. From reviewing resumes to building hiring systems, I’ve seen every side of the job search—and I’m on a mission to make it more transparent, equitable, and empowering.

That’s why I started Teal in early 2020. We’re building a career growth platform that uses AI and modern technology to simplify the job search, personalize the experience, and give individuals the same tools companies use to manage talent. We’ve helped people land new roles, negotiate raises, and gain clarity in their career paths—at scale.

With over 20 years as a technology practitioner and entrepreneur, I’ve led across product and service businesses, from B2B enterprise to consumer applications. I co-founded CASE, later acquired by WeWork, where I held executive roles including Chief Product Officer and Chief Growth Officer. I helped scale global operations—opening over 2 million square feet of space per month, often at 60–80% occupancy—and built products and teams that touched every part of the business.

Throughout my career, I’ve built productivity tools, physical products, and large-scale consumer search experiences. I’ve hired thousands of people and shaped the policies and systems behind how companies build culture and grow talent.

"Passionate professional with extensive experience seeking opportunities to leverage my skills..."

Stop.

Your About section should make someone want to hire you, not attend your funeral.

Use the 4-Part About Formula instead:

1️⃣ Hook Line

One sentence that makes them want to keep reading. What's the most interesting thing about what you do?

❌ "I'm a marketing professional with 8 years of experience."
✅ "I help B2B SaaS companies turn content into pipeline."

2️⃣ What You Do + For Whom

Be specific. Who do you serve? What problems do you solve?

❌ "I work in digital marketing across various industries."
✅ "I build demand gen strategies for early-stage tech companies trying to break into enterprise accounts."

3️⃣ Top 3 Achievements

Proof you're good at what you do. Use numbers.

❌ "Successfully managed multiple campaigns"
✅ "• Grew MQL pipeline 240% in 12 months
• Cut CAC by 35% while scaling spend
• Built content program that drives 40% of demos"

4️⃣ What You're Looking For

End with your goal. Make it easy for the right people to reach out.

The ones that got interviews all had ONE thing in common:

Every resume that got forwarded to the hiring team led with outcomes, not responsibilities.

This is The Outcome-First Rule™.

Here's the difference:

Responsibilities tell me what you were supposed to do. Outcomes tell me what actually happened because you did it.

3 real examples from resumes I reviewed:

1️⃣ Entry-Level Marketing

❌ "Managed social media accounts and created content for multiple platforms"

✅ "Grew Instagram following from 2K to 12K in 6 months through data-driven content strategy, increasing engagement rate to 8.4%"

2️⃣ Mid-Level Engineer

❌ "Managed a team of 5 engineers working on backend infrastructure"

✅ "Led 5-person engineering team to reduce API response time by 60%, improving user experience for 100K+ daily active users"

3️⃣ Senior Operations
