In my role leading the Product Team, I led product development, research, monetization, retention and analytics for Stryda's products and services. Also during this timeframe, I was part of the team that worked on two investment rounds for the company.

I was the architect and manager of the 2.0 version of the Mr Green Marketing department. We went from being highly dependent on analog media to being close to 100% digital in a very short time. I managed the Marketing department team which included all Regional Managers, Content Creation, Marketing Analytics, Social Media, Affiliate Marketing and User Acquisition at a total headcount of 77. During my time as CMO we went from a +8% to a +34% QoQ growth of revenue in only three quarters.

Given the opportunity to join the one of the largest Internet consultancies at the time, Icon MediaLab,  in their venture into the Asian market, I took on the responsibility of being regionally responsible for the UX / Usability competence area. This included providing UX expert advice to clients +  coordination of User Experience practices across the development hubs in Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney and Melbourne). Each location had their own team of UX specialist, including a local UX Lead, who reported dotted line to me.

Key takeaways: This was my first exposure to living abroad and work in a professional international environment, and it gave me a solid exposure to and understanding of all the opportunities and challenges this presents, including differences in business and workplace culture.

I was recruited over from Telia Telecom by one of the founders of Framfab, and joining one of the most cutting edge web development firms in Sweden at the time, I became introduced to the high pace of the consulting world. This also gave me the opportunity to work with the corporate websites of large external clients, and helping them improve their customer reach through design review work focused on interaction flow & ease of use. Clients included everything from large car manufacturer to companies in the energy sector, to smaller on-line shops. I also worked with identifying target group requirements and developing user personas based on these.

Bringing with me the experience and knowledge of user experience work from the R&D part of Telia, I joined the more directly customer focused Telia TeleCom (TTAB), and was there part of a team working with creating interaction design of customer facing services and doing evaluation and improvements of user interfaces for Telia's Internet Access services. This also included me doing field usability studies to gather real-user input. Products that my team shipped were things like starter kits for getting customers online with their home computers, including installation manuals and online help systems.
