I began my entrepreneurial career as a veterinarian specializing in racehorses

As a vet, I focused on helping my clients get peak performance from their horses. The name of my business, “Productive Pressure™,” came from finding the sweet spot: enough pressure to get fast - but not too much, so as to avoid injury.

As a business owner, I helped our practice grow to multiple seven figures, join forces with other practices, and eventually be acquired by a large aggregator.

Along the way, I earned an MBA and worked with many business owners. I spent hours poring over P&Ls and balance sheets.

I discovered that regardless of geography or size, all business owners had similar challenges.

TRIAGE: As I did when I was a doctor in my previous career, we start with, "Where does it hurt right now?" We address this first.

VISION: What do you want for yourself and your business? Clarity on your desired outcome will provide a framework for the rest of your decisions.

VALUATION: We always start with the end in mind, but we need to have a baseline so we know where you are today. A valuation of your business shows us which levers to pull to get the outcome you want. Once you have that information, I put on my expert hat and we apply best practices to reverse engineer a plan to get you there.

PLAN: Now that we have a roadmap, I put on my facilitator hat to help you implement the action steps - whether it's stabilize/grow/sell. We adapt as needed and this accelerates your progress and keeps you on track.

TRANSITION/SELL: At some point you will leave your business whether you want to or not. We include this eventuality in our plan so that whether you pass the business along to a successor, or sell it internally or externally, the transition will be as smooth as possible.

•Build and develop local, regional and national corporate partnerships to support cause-marketing sponsorship of Childhelp Speak Up Be Safe in schools and community centers nationwide.

• Managed and developed a team of three instructional designers and a training coordinator to support training and professional development for Customer Care Center (C3) employees; 
• Guided and drove the design of instructional materials for approximately 3000 C3 employees, ranging from new hire training to agent continuing education and career pathing, leadership development, departmental onboarding, and product updates and roll outs;
• Served as member of the C3 Professional Development leadership team, supporting the strategic planning for and rollout of new hire and continuing education training for Customer Care in the US, India and Europe, the creation and expansion of internal employee diversity groups, and the review and selection of external vendors for solutions to sales training and learning management system needs;
• Acted as a key liaison for the Communications team, departmental leaders throughout Customer Care, and corporate product owners to determine training needs for products and departmental staffing;
• Developed best practices for training a 24/7 workforce in multiple locations throughout the US and across the world, including instructor-led classes, self-guided activities, engaging eLearning, and exploring the use of virtual training to maximize the impact of a lean group of facilitators for a continually growing team with diverse training needs;
• Coordinated with external vendors to customize training materials specific to organizational goals, provide train-the-trainer sessions and certification when applicable, and deliver project-specific or departmental-specific trainings as required when internal needs exceed capacity for internal development and delivery.

•	Provided world-class customer support to small business owners and individuals developing, growing and managing their online presence; 
•	Served as expert on technology solutions to identify and recommend the best online products for customers to meet immediate and long-term online and business goals; 
•	Assisted customers with account management and maintenance;
•	Engaged as an active member of the Customer Care team to promote the organizational culture and build relationships necessary to work toward and realize team objectives and goals within specified metrics.

Customer Outreach Account Manager

• Served on leadership team of non-partisan, independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that combines public policy research with collaborative partnerships and initiatives that serve the public interest and the common good, focused on a mission to improve the quality of life for all Arizonans.  
• Gathered and analyzed essential information on education policy issues at the state and national level and advised the Executive Director and CEO with regard to findings important for the Center’s policy initiatives;
• Created common goals and managed collaborative partnerships with outside organizations involved in education policy issues, including the state legislature, the State Board of Education, and the Arizona Department of Education, as well as postsecondary institutions, community-based organizations and professional organizations;
• Managed the work cycle and professional development of 16 graduate research assistants to appropriately support the various initiatives of the Center while simultaneously contributing to their graduate education experience and development as doctoral candidates in their chosen fields;
• Developed the research and evaluation plans specific to implementing statewide legislation for the purposes of a $450,000 grant from the Helios Education Foundation;
• Created reports and technical studies for local, state and national partners, including annual updates to the Arizona State Board of Education and deliverables to funders to fulfill grant obligations;
• Collaborated with national and local partners to ensure data necessary for implementation of statewide policy initiatives was available and shared in a way that was useful to stakeholders and in compliance with all state and federal laws;
• Represented the work of the Center on various boards, commissions and organizations, including the Governor’s P-20 Council, the City of Phoenix College Depot Advisory Board, and the City of Phoenix Degree Phoenix initiative, among others.

•	Designed all coursework, lectures, interactive learning activities, exams and grading policies for upper division Social Psychology course;
•	Developed and managed syllabus and course materials, including design of assignments and critical thinking exercises to permit measurement of performance relative to learning objectives;

•	Prepared and presented extensive PowerPoint presentations illustrating complex psychological concepts and related empirical findings;
