AI Engineer builds a real-time potato counter using just ONE training image.

Most people assume you need huge datasets and large models to build anything useful with Al. Well, this project proves otherwise.

A senior Al engineer created a real-time potato counter for a conveyor belt using a tiny setup.
No custom dataset. No heavy model. Just one annotated frame.

He used Ultralytics ObjectCounter with a YOLO11 nano model, labeled a single image with SAM 2, and trained it.

That one frame was enough for the system to track every potato in the entire video.

This is a solid reminder of what real industrial Al looks like. Simple. Efficient. Built for one clear job.

These focused systems save time, cut errors, and work without big infrastructure. In other words, this is the future!

Every CEO wants to “reach the AI summit”… but many are taking the wrong helicopter.

Company X wants to be AI-first.
That means reaching the summit: fast.
So what does the CEO do?

Simple: “We need AI, and we need it NOW. Beat the competitors to the top.”
No clarity on the purpose, no alignment, no real conversation. Just urgency.

And because the CEO is “smart,” they rent a helicopter,
aka an army of consultants,
to fly straight to the top and take a picture.
A shiny PR release announcing they’re “AI-first.”

Quick. Expensive.
And absolutely useless.

They burned 80% of the budget for a selfie at the summit.
Now what?

The CDO, CIO, CTO… they still have to climb.
But they’re not trained, they don’t know the terrain AI,
and there’s zero budget left.

So they place all their hopes on the sherpa:
Jack, the AI builder.
The young intern carrying the legacy, the bad data, the lack of skills,
the missing strategy… everything on his back.

Jack could reach the summit alone.
But dragging the entire team with him?
That’s a completely different challenge.

And this isn’t a story, it’s reality.

Companies keep dumping the whole AI journey on a tiny group of builders.
Talented? Yes.
Supported? Not even close.
Scalable? Not at all.

The lesson:
You don’t need more helicopters.
You need more sherpas. More Jacks.
People who train the team, climb together,
and help you understand why you’re even climbing.

Because with AI, it’s simple:
No purpose → No value.

2 secs by using this prompt: re-generate the image including the solution of the integral step by step.

I know, you must believed actually I solved the problem by myself but I didn’t… AI did it for me.

Then of course I asked for the detailed explanation with the logic on how to solve it. The goal is not to have the solution but to understand how to do it.

We humans usually have very short memory but this would have been crazy only 2 years ago…So for the ones who believe this is just another trend, trust me, this is not.

Imagine how a kid in the middle of Africa, without resources, can learn now mathematics. And take this to every single aspect of our lives.
